The build below isn’t finalised and the community’s help is needed and appreciated before the 23rd patch hits

Build uses Staff + Scepter/Pistol

While Scepter/torch is playable since the mage afflicts burning now, pistol offhand with it’s fast attackspeed and the dueling traitline go well together, not to mention you get an additional interrupt

Runes – Superior rune of perplexity, 20% confusion duration and 5 stacks of confusion for 8 seconds (without the 33% + 20% confusion duration increase) when you interrupt.

Sigils – Corruption – 250 condition damage
Bursting – 6% condition damage
Earth – 60% chance for a 5 second bleed (no ICD)

Some of the traits and skills can be changed, like illusionary defense to master of manipulation and blink to mimic 2 feedbacks or 2 stuns

More suggestions for a near to perfect build guys!

The values below show damage of each tick of condition at 1800 condition damage at level 80

Intensity stack = 1

Bleeding - 161 damage per tick

Burning - 410.5 damage per tick

Confusion (DoT) - 98 damage per tick
Confusion (Effect Trigger) - 162 damage per tick

Poison - 141.5 damage per tick

Torment (DoT) - 102.5 damage per tick
Torment (Effect Trigger) - 237 damage per tick

Will this be better than zerker for pve? does condition dmg compensate for lack of crit damage

with the amount of condition damage this build can pump out, i’d say yes.

with the stat changes and base stats, we might end up with more condition damage than we can get right now. also, there are lots of ways to apply conditions with the new trait changes

Nice. I’m going to run something similar. Can you post this in the thread I made on this page about the official thread for pve condi builds? It’s better to keep them alrogether, yours will be first I’ll post mine later
