Q:
“Apply” generally means the effect is given to allies whereas “Gain” (Gain 2 seconds of quickness) usually refers to only the player.
Currently Rune of the Chronomancer only applies its affect to the caster. Are they meant to apply 2s Quickness to allies within the well, or is it just a misleading tooltip?
Human error. Go with lowest common denominator.
I haven’t seen this in game yet, but if you copied the tooltip correctly…
The “when YOU cast a well” part seems to me that ONLY you receive quickness AND it is triggered “when the well is cast.” That’s how I read it anyway.
I think your reading too much into “apply” and not enough into “when you cast a Well”.
Tooltip, otherwise it would say allies. Example: Rune of the Soldier.
