Shattering clones are checkerboards?
I’ve noticed the same thing.
Please don’t remove it, I find them cute and adorable. Let me have my checkerboard!
Been trying to SS this since the patch, it doesn’t happen all the time.. unlike Anet to fix something and break something else totally unrelated

I’ll have to log in to check this out. I haven’t been on since patch…maybe they got rid of the ridiculous engineer explosions. Not sure why explosions were there because nothing about my class has gunpowder.
There was a bug thread made for this. There were a couple dev responses, and apparently they have found the issue and will be fixing it in an upcoming update.

Your clones explode only if you have an “on clone death”-trait like Debilitating Dissipation.

When you shatter, you should shout “KING ME!”
Lol makes me think of Alice in wonderland for some reason.
Having this too… looks like a missing texture. Makes me cringe every time i see it. Not sure how they manage to break that -.-’
I’ve had this since months ago. It’s not new. Though if you’re only seeing it now then maybe the problem got worse.
I want it to make sense right away, then another sense later. Murkiness =/= quality "

Never happened on my comp.
I posted about this in the bug forum because it started happening to a ton of people for the first time after the recent patch. Ive logged hundreds of hours since launch and never noticed it even once until the latest patch. It doesn’t happen to everyone, but it’s been happening to a lot of people. Most likely it has to do with the way a new set of code is reacting with a specific graphics card type. Thankfully Anet mods posted twice on the bug thread and have assured us they found the problem and it will be fixed in the next patch. Go Anet!
