Should the clone ui be updated?
Having a different color to indicate phantasms or clones would certainly be nice, but ultimately not necessary. Part of playing the class is knowing what clones and phantasms you have up, managing them and relying on them. Being able to do this effectively is part of what makes a strong playstyle for a mesmer.
Yep I pretty much know what I have up 24/7. Its kinda become second nature and I don’t have to think about it.

I like having the 3 dots the same color… I feel like puting weapon symbols or coloring hem different is unnescesary clutter :/.
Im all in for the option to turn it on and off though!

they even should update the mechanics of shattering and distinct between clones and phantasms.
would be nice if one could decide if he shatters only clones or phantasms at any time.
especially non-shatterintensive phantasm specs which have to deal with clones from time to time, especially with some traits, would have a boost of tactical gameplay.
im not sure if it is that big deal of thinking about illusions atm.
u just spam them more or less until they die (fast as we all know…) or u need a certain shattereffect. its spamming unless u are really in desperate need of the tipitop of dps with a perfect “rotation”.
It would be nice if:
1) They were different colour for Phantasms
2) showed Health %
3) Cool down on Phantasm attack would be nice as well
This is an example of why customizable UIs are a good thing. For some people, extra information would be just clutter, for others, they like to be able to have that deeper knowledge at a glance.
Well, it wouldn’t be necessary I guess, most Mesmers are already used to playing attention for this kinda stuff, but it wouldn’t hurt either. New players would probably benefit from this overhaul. On the other hand, anet wants the UI to be as minimalistic as possible so you pay more attention to the ingame action.
