So I just totally threw this together not that long ago, and I kinda like it. I’ve been playing a Mesmer for quite a long time, like 8 months, and it’s by far my favorite. I never PvPed though, so this is the first build I’ve come up with. Don’t hate, friendly advice.
THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS.
Version 1 is the original idea.
Version 2 is the “improved” build. It is MUCH more suited to typical PvP.
Version 1: More Survivability

The point of the build is to take advantage of the greatswords triple attacks on the 1 skill. It’s a pretty different approach to a Condition-esque build, but it does make some sense. Every clone you create while using the greatsword has 3×44% chances to deal bleeds. If you manage to get all 3 regular clones up, there are 9×44% chances to cause bleeding. Keep in mind that these are the scrap clones, the ones that are more often then not are just distractions. The Berserker phantasm also can deal some pretty moderate bleeds, as well as dealing a good bit of damage. Combine the two, and you have regular damage, as well as condition damage.
The rest of the build is more about helping you avoid being killed before you can create more clones. There are 2 invisibility skills: The Prestige, and Decoy. If you wanted an extra, you could replace Moa Morph with Mass Invis. The only reason for Moa Morph is so that you can stop Necros during Death Shroud.
The sword is there for the purpose of providing a means to bind your enemy temporarily if you need to, and also to provide a lengthy evade. It isn’t really meant to be used for DPS, but if you wanted to, I assume you could. You could also swap out the Sword for a Scepter, but I just don’t like the Scepter personally. It can remove your GS clones, and also only does mediocre damage. It is worth considering though, since it does have Confusion, and a Torment skill that also blocks.
The utilities are almost soley for condition removal, except for Decoy. The reason I am using Arcane Thievery is that it doesn’t just remove conditions, it sends them to your enemy, and steals their boons. It’s useful against a lot of professions, especially Necros, and especially Necros that flip their conditions back on to you. Just flip them right back. I choose Phantasmal Disenchanter simply because I needed another Condi clearing skill, since Arcane Thievery has a kitten cooldown. I choose it as an experiment, since I’d never actually used it before. As long as it manages to stay alive, It’s actually pretty nifty to have around. Clears 2 conditions from you, clears 2 boons from enemies, and bounces five times. What’s not to like?
If you don’t like those two, which are experimental by the way, you could pretty much use any you want. The original skills were Mantra of Resolve and Blink.
Version 2: More DPS

Version two is the the same principal, but instead of relying on just the GS and bleeds, you swap out Sword/Torch for Scepter/Pistol. This way you can apply MORE conditons FASTER, but it leaves you short of one invisiblity, and focuses more on damage than survivability.
Everything else is more or less the same with the first version.
That’s about it. Basically you just Invis and run around while waiting for your GS skills to cooldown. Any advice, comments? Leave them below. Enjoy.
