hi guys, what is the current meta mesmer build? im seeing many different build so im getting kinda confuse… thanks!

Meta for what? There are many viable builds for every game type. Maybe tell us what you want to play / focus on…

for WvW… the traits, stats of armor, weapon, etc..

there is no real meta for wvw and if there was, anet would nerf it right away. since glam/immortal mes nerf there is not much left unless u wanna go veilbot or roam

I actually like that there isn’t “the one build” so i can tailor my mesmer to my own needs. Aside from sub par tagging I really have no complaints. And tbh the problem is in the tagging mechanic, not the class.

I still find my mesmer more enjoyable than my guardian, which gets allllll the bags but has just the one build

The only class that you would have a lot of trouble fighting is ironically shatter and phantasm mesmers.

hmm check out blackwater mesmer.

if i am not mistaken, there are 2 builds right? phantasm and clone mesmers, which of these 2 are more of a killer and a support type?

What will you be doing? Whatever build you end up going with, I suggest taking a GS in your bag along with you. Give it a try. I find it’s superior in almost every situation to the staff. Also for WvW, Prismatic Understanding and Debilitating Dissipation + Deceptive Evasion is awesome.

There is no meta-game in WvW, at all.

I would say the PU perplex rune condi build is the best if you don’t mind the slow run speed .

There isn’t really a meta build around for Mesmer’s these days,

If anything, the few good variants we have are PU builds (xx30xx) that are either condition based, (see Osi’s condi cat/Blackwater build) hybrids and I think there were also a few damage ones out there, PU builds are pretty much for WvW roaming, with limited success in pvp/pve imo.

Then you have the phantasm builds which are great for duelling, alright for roaming but not as good as they used to be because of this condition/stun meta, and the optimal choice for Pve.

Shatter builds….. I’m actually not sure, I guess people still play them but I really haven’t seen much about them in quite some time ^^
