% damage traits and how they effect Illusions
Generally, no, they do not affect illusions.
Although when testing these traits, I did notice a jump in phantasm damage when summoning other phantasms, only (never clones). The effect was inconsistent however, so likely a bug, and I wouldn’t rely on it for a build. The best way to produce the effect(bug?) is to summon a clone, then summon phantasms and eventually overwrite the clone.

Why wouldn’t they affect our main source of dmg? That kinda makes those traits that are already borderline useful not worth taking at all.
ANet used to be way more precise in GW1 with skills tooltips, but anyway it was back then.
Mantra % damage doesn’t affect illusion. Then, I’m not sure for % damage for each illusions up. I can say that my phantasms do more damage, because I maxed 30-30-0-0-10. I’m always torn apart if I should play mantra or phantasm 20-20-0-25-5.

But in GW1 the effects were also straightforward. If it was a condition, it either did damage on -insert random thing here- or it just gave -healthregen.
