okay so the idea for the build was a boon share that could protect itself by apply conditions through shatter/clone death. i plan to take the torment on shatter grand-master trait when it comes out.

should I drop the idea or keep working on it?
please include why you think i should drop or keep or change something.

This concept is reasonable.

This build is not.

Where are your boons coming from? You have consistent access to regen and retal….and that’s it. You’re using runes with an icd of 15s and a heal with a cooldown of 45 seconds, that’s an incredibly poor choice. Why scepter? Why greatsword? Why veil?

found the note on bug didn’t know about that thank you for mentionion it.
for scepter the plan was to use it for clone generation and torment/confusion application. and any suggestion on what to change veil and greatsword with would be great. think staff instead of greatsword would be much better.

as for where the boons are coming from i get might from shatter/secondary weapon and runes, regen from seed and phantasm, retaliation from cry of frustration, swiftness from curtain, fury from runes, plus whatever random boons the signet gives.

for why I took the healing seed, it is that it grants regen once a second and if I’m at the back of the zerg the healing seed has a decent chance to survive the full thirty second meaning I end up with at least a 30 second long regen to give to everyone near me. if this isn’t feasible please tell me.

Think of it like this. Much of the damage in a zerg is AoE. If your healing seed can survive, the people near it didn’t need regen anyway. If you took a shorter cd heal, then you could apply more fury, and still keep yourself alive. I personally like the idea of your build, but healing seed isn’t a good idea in most (if not all) situations.

thank you for explaining it that way, and ya if healing seed may not be the best idea when you take into account aoe in large zerg fights (not familiar with).

If i’m not using healing seed which do you think would work better mantra of recovery, ether fest, or signet of ether.

I’d throw my vote in for MoRecovery, especially considering you’re using Runes of Altruism. That way you have an instant-cast AoE 3xMight/Fury

A Condition/boonshare build should have staff for sure (Staff and focus are the best weapons for a boonsharing build and staff is good for conditions), and scepter/focus isn’t too bad actually. Consider grabbing Sigils of Battle for your staff (or whatever will be in your offset) and your scepter, and after the April 15th patch drops mix in a Sigil of Doom for some poison application. The battle sigils will give you 3x Might on weapon swap, which also means that you’ll be always granting at least 6x Might+Fury.

If you’re planning to fight in a team, you definitely wanna grab Bountiful Interruption over Cleansing Inscriptions, and a traited Focus may do your more justice than a traited Scepter. Your focus pull is going to interrupt more often than not, and that’s a free 5x Might and random boon to share, also having an element of reflection in your build is a nice extra layer of support/defense.

As much as I wanna applaud you for using apothecary’s, its only going to effect the regeneration you grant. Consider trying out Rabid gear for a significant damage boost, both to your condition damage and because Precision is important to a condition Mesmer for the extra bleeds your staff clones will proc on crit.

Edit: Oh, and Veil/Signet of Midnight are doing you no kinda justice. Decoy and Blink – especially blink – would make for better picks. You need some form of self defense/stunbreak and while Midnight fits the description, it won’t save you from when people are focusing you or you’re outnumbered. Also consider Feedback (Ethereal combo field for more Chaos Armor, thus more boons, AND reflects) , Arcane Thievery (steal boons and give conditions, then share those boons with friends), Null Field (Rip boons like Stability and cleanse your team), or Portal (Get creative, feel like a total and complete gangsta)

Hm, personal healing power stats affect phantasm regeneration as well (I know you know that … just making sure I understand what you’re trying to say).

Also OP – just to give you more ideas, check out this build I posted awhile back: The Utility Wizard. It’s close to the same trait spread with the support concept focused on reflects, blind spamming, healing and boon share.

chaos thank you for the suggestion switched to mantra of recovery and traited cleanse on heal and focus instead of scepter, put sigil of doom on focus and sigil of battle on staff. switched shoulder, gloves, and boots to rabid also switched all trinket/jewelry to ascended rabid/apothecary. put in blink instead of midnight.

one question tho why would my staff clones proc bleed on crit if i don’t have 15 into dueling.

They wont. Im dumb. X.x Kinda reflexively mentioned that since condi builds usually grab the 15 dueling. Skcamows build and my Chaos Maestro may help give some ideas though

again thank you just means i’ll switch armor back to pure apothecary and leave accessories rabid/apothecary for the increase in condition damage

i’m looking forward to testing the build after patch may be awhile before I get full ascended for it tho.
