I like to know one act what you did as mesmer what ur really proud of.
For me it is winning downed fight vs Condi ranger I was downed before hem I still don’t believe I managed it.in pvp

It’s not super impressive, but I still love pulling off ele rezzes using portal. Just feels so satisfying. My best rez ever probably had to be on Khylo. I was capping far and my teammate was fighting a warrior at mid. Apparently they both downed each other at the same time and the warrior had just used his downed skill and was getting up to stomp with stability. I blinked up onto the ledge, dropped down, reverse phase treated to get right up next to him, Mind Wracked to strip stability and popped Diversion just as he was about to finish. He started again as I started rezzing and my weapon swap cd finished just in time for me to switch to GS and iWave him off the point. Vengeance wears off and ally rallies and I felt pretty good about that :P

^^ Ele portal rezzes are the best feeling ever, as are moaing rampages, liches, and MM necros.

A few funny instances spring to mind:

A blink stomp on a vapour form ele among absolute chaos in a teamfight in the middle of Courtyard – it was either blind luck or divine intervention that moved my hand to the right place because all the visual effects going off meant his path of travel was obscured.

An Into the Void “shootout” on skyhammer between me and another Mesmer – we both ended up pulling each other through the same hole. xD

Dropping from a height with “Descent into madness” right on my enemies~

Winning against the few ESL Mesmers before my Sommer Pause in 2014.
The biggest achievement was the ‘compliment’ my enemies gave me on the outnumbered fight. The 1vs3 against the lich and rampage warrior as moa. Insta dooown haha

Downing 3 thieves in one shatter at the same time.(still died tho)

I posted a thread like this a while back. But before 6/23 I ran 20606 with CI and IP. Zero condition cleanses. GS/Sword-Focus and a Berserker Amulet.

Through smart kiting, dodges and blurrs, coupled with some clutch shatters and interrupts, I tied up three people at graveyard in Legacy, keeping the point contested, and even managing the Moa on the plague form when my control became too much. My team eventually showed up. (I know fighting on point isn’t always the best option for a Mesmer, but my team was actually pretty bad and I didn’t want to give the enemy any leeway.)

After that Skirmish was over, someone on the enemy team said “Your Mesmer is a beast” in map chat. A teammate of mine responded, “He is.”

It’s definitely nice when people acknowledge how hard you’re playing and trying.

Probably beating Liandri as a Mesmer, it took a long time but I managed it every year without resorting to one of the easier professions to do it on or a Norn (though I think I used Sylvari take root as an emergency block).

Yea great fights! For people that didn’t weren’t watching, sticker ran a condi ci build which was more dangerous then I thought, but still I won every fight except one plus I also took stickerhappy hostage :o. Chaos, your henchman will never take me alive (wow this rp, am I pver now)!

For pve it was probably the time I pretty much soloed Lieutenant Kholer in ascolon catacombs. My whole team died when he had 3/4 of his health (it was a bad group). I finished as my teammates cheered for me. A similar situation also occurred with the spider queen.

PvP is a tuff one. There are always those rewarding circumstances when you win against multiple opponents at the same time. There was also this one time I got in an epic duel with another mesmer in Foefire. It literally lasted over a minute. A hell of a long fight for two mesmers. It ended when he went in to mind wrack, so I quickly swapped to sword and used blurred frenzy to evade the burst while at the same time downing him. It was quite the duel.

recapping the same NE tower in wvw 9 times without ever leaving it except to drop a portal to allies.

Was in early day of the game when the [Xaoc] ruskie zerk was blobbing everywhere. Was an enemy tower and was hilarious how every time they capped it I managed to hide and port my guild back in. Only stopped because it got boring in the end

Staving off a 1v4 long enough for a 2v4, then turning that into a quadra stomp. Happiest 98 seconds of my mesmer career. Pre-patch. Trying to do it post, can barely stave off 1v3 o.O

…in hotjoin…while he’s testing build…as a necromancer…and outnumbering him. Just joking for lols Chaos, don’t kill me please :P

Back to topic, I probably mentioned the 15 min duel so I’ll say another one. Surviving a 40+ blob without PU by going towards them after chain stealths and hide behind a structure (I swap to PU afterward just to ensure not being detected though). Then portal people in to take the keep. Gives me chuckle because for some reason people just want to k-train and forget to sweep the keep properly.

Winning a 1+1+1+1+1 against 5 thieves last year. They just kept on appearing and dying in silly ways. Then a LB Ranger turned up and murdrered me silly.

-Before the big PvP change when you actually had to do ranked in order to get your champion titles, Skyhammer hadn’t been out very long and I was on a team of 3 mesmer myself included and 1 engi so we were down a player, things didn’t look good and we were losing by 200 pts. All of a sudden we did a 360 turnaround and we won. It was like something out of an 80s movie- with the 80s rock song and all, it was awesome.
But I can’t say that I recall what map it was when I got my Champ Illusionist title but I was like ‘yay’ when I did

-Pushing a thief out of SR with GS skill 5, they fell off the Skyhammer ledge and she/he went “Nice” as they fell.
-Portaling my whole team to victory and we were against a tough team in ranked. My sister, who was on power necro at the time – had portaled and lich formed as soon as she stepped out of it – the enemy team never saw it because I popped mass invis just before we walked through, we took out the whole team on middle and far point. It was great.

-My other biggest achievement was getting map on my mesmer it took 100yrs it seemed like.
-And making my legendaries on my mesmer was my third.
