So on my Guardian it was easy chooice to go for boon duration, but i strugle on my necro. Im going from a Condtion build to a power build.

My plan was to go for:
2 Superior Hoelbra (20% Might)
2 Superior Monk ( 15% Boon)
2 Superior Water ( 15% Boon)

Boons i have:
5 sec protection at 50% hp ( Last Gasp)
15s Might on Life Blast ( Reaper’s Might)
5s Regen at 90% hp (Full of life)
7s Regen on staff 2
4s Retaliation on Axe 3
45s Swiftness on Spectral walk
5s Fury when entering DS

Is the 30% Boon duration worth it for those boons? Should i rather go for another 40% might duration or do you have any other advice? My plan was to go for Rune of Lyssa but those ar bugged on lich form/plague form (dont use the pet elite).

I think it depends on your sigil choices. If you plan to go Strength/Battle sigils, then I’d definitely go with all Might.

But if you don’t plan to ever use those sigils or BiP, then things change.

It’s just that 30% of most of those boons you list gets you only about 1 extra second each (depending on rounding up or down). Boon duration just doesn’t seem to be the best use of those slots.

Also, a bit unclear since Monk/Water are +Healing runes, are you creating a support build or a power build?

Stealth nerfs are the perfect fertilizer for mistrust.

I like the fire rune on my staff, on my 1h weapon im not sure yet.

Im creating a power build like i said in the first post, but the healing from those 4 runes is not that intense to ruin a power build

+30% boon duration to your other boons is worth a lot more than a measly +10% more might.

For your case, I’d say take the boon duration. The only real source of Might that you’ve got there is when you cast Life Blast, and you can afford to gain only 19.5 seconds of Might per cast instead of 21.

If you were running the “Gain Might on Signet Use” Trait or Blood Is Power then it might be different, but Might really doesn’t seem like a major focus for your play style.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

The reason i didnt mention all my utility skills is that im not sure what to go for yet. Was thinking of BiP but not sure it worth it only for the buff.

This is mainly wvw and some pve btw.

I would go for Might Duration if your building a Might stacking Necromancer. We gain too little boons to make boon duration worth it.

This build would give 75 Power & 60% Might duration and would be very good at bursting down single targets whilst maintaining 15+ stacks of might pretty much perm. BiP would have only a 4.75 second downtime.

The thing about focusing on might so much, is that you can easily get shut down by anyone with a boon removal skill. The same goes for any bleed focus build. They easily get stripped of all of their damage by a single cleanse, the same goes for OP and boon removals.

In fact, I think might is one of the first boons removed by boon removals.
