Good lord, I’m gone a couple of months and these forums somehow got even more toxic. Do these people even realize how bad of an example they set for new players?

Well if anyone not completely concerned about optimization ever wants to do dungeons just P.M. me. I don’t care what build you run I’ll still group with you and we’ll still beat it. Don’t let these kind of conversations dictate how you play.

First of all, the problem isn’t Condition Necromancers, it’s generally the state of conditions in PvE.

Second of all, what? A condi thief being superior to a Necromancer? Ah, sure. What are you gonna do, exactly? Put torment and bleeds on me? Lemme just transfer all that to you, who has no real condition cleanse, put my own conditions, fear you and then laugh while you melt.

Third of all, Necromancers don’t run. Also, let’s see how you’re planning to win in PvP if you’re running away from the points you’re trying to cap.

Agree with you 100%,thief have like 1 combo which gives all the conditions(which necro signet can do in no time lol),but than necro can consume it or transfer it,and have almost unlimited access to condition if spec right.

Warrior is very obvious landing conditions.(the riposte,the bow lol,the sword immo)
Engineer is the only proffesion who I can say that is equal in terms of overall condition dmg potencial.

I cannot get over the fact that you are stating a class is hurting the game not everyone wants to roll as a zerk and not everyone wants to play a certain class granted that they do not do the most damage but it is a mmo and diversity is what makes this game great people being different with different builds and what about noobs or low level players should they not join in world events as they are just hurting the game as well

The reason world boss events fail is because of people with bad builds. So yes they should not join in. They are preventing others from completing content. :P

complete rubbish,world bosses,are very different than doing dungeon,condition specs are still reliable at dungeons,mobs would melt from it,and the “mini bosses”,aswell.
problem is with wolrd events that there is a 25 stack limit,which not guarntee that you got it,and than your dmg reduced which is really the only time power builds shines.

Unfortunately most of the best dps classes/specs can cleave with their attacks. That is, they can do around the same damage to both single target and the trash. I hear a lot of this “condition melts trash” argument. Even if you have 25 stacks of bleeds and all on all mobs can you melt them faster than the max damage specs that can cleave? Can a condimancer even AoE better than a power Necro who has access to DS piercing, wells, warhorn and whatnot? In the “stack and kill fast” norm, I doubt if a condimancer’s sustained AoE is capable of beating a powermancer’s burst AoE.

Lets also remember that other classes can apply random bleeds, so that even in a dungeon setup a conditionmancer’s damage could be less than ideal in an optimum setup (all unique buffs, 25 might and vulnurability and Fury) as he is bound to lose his bleed stacks to others.

In conclusion, condimancers can really shine in demanding places like Triple Trouble and by all means will always be useful in all content, but the content of PvE in which power specs are more useful are in majority.

Complete rubbish. Ive tried condi in dungeons recently. Everything died before i could even cast epidemic. Warriors, mesmers, engis and necros all take up the bleed stacks passively on power builds. You would have to be in a really low dps group for condi to be ok and in that case you may aswell be solo. So it goes by what ive always said. Condi is good for solo and nothing else when it comes to pve.

Epidemic means their bleeds are your bleeds. The key to its use is for everyone to focus the tougher enemy (especially true in bosses with adds) and pop Epidemic to spread everything, including those bleeds that aren’t yours. You melt trash without ever even touching them.

Plus, a lot of the trash mobs are ranged and don’t stack up nice for you. Epidemic doesn’t care.

Epidemic is great in add calling bosses especially in open world. It was just awesome in old crown pavilion. It’s a bag dropping button.

But in dungeon, yea things die too fast. First started fractal with condi necro, it worked because berserker gear wasn’t the norm and mobs ain’t dying as fast. But going up the fractal level, people even pugs use more offensive gear and there just isn’t enough time to stack bleeds.

This post was absolutly hilarious. I have never seen so much crap gathered in a single post.

in PvE content, epidemic will cover the low dps if adds accompany the big boss (25 bleeds,burn+poison on 5 targets is 20k dps), and in the case of single bosses… well it will die anyway when 30 ppl attacking, maybe 2-3 sec later due to the upscale from necro’s presence.

in wvw, condi necro can kill every build of every class.
some builds from some classes can kill the necro too.

imo, engis, rangers, eles and guards are the condi necro’s best customers. they are moving lootbags.

warriors would be too, if berzerker stance bug is fixed.

thieves are a little harder to kill, as they drop ‘refuge’ and run away…

in fact, most of them run (or try to) away, as they run faster than the necro.

Most difficult enemy is the pu mesmer with power build.

i guess you die too much from condi necros but thats allright
