Haha, the condition burst is over the top. I am working on a berserker build video now and watching your video just drives home the fact that the condi burst is it is now is as fast/faster than the berserker build.

While I don’t disagree the condi burst is over the top, when people don’t clear conditions it really doesn’t matter how much you reduce the burst by. These folks apparently figured traiting for any condition clear at all was a waste of time. The uplevel guys may just not have unlocked those skills yet.

I do find a 3 signet build interesting though. I don’t really care for any of our signets, but it would certainly put you in a much better place if you ran into a condi engineer or warrior that actually knew what he was doing.

I’ve been experimenting with Plague Signet more and more roaming, its surprisingly useful. You would think Necro has enough condi management, but really Putrid Mark is on that long cooldown and not always what you want to do swapping to staff, and Deathly Swarm isn’t the most reliable to hit because its still kinda slow and sometimes gets out ranged. When you just want something off you right now, a stack of confusion, short burning, or w/e, its pretty handy.

Lot of time even if you pass back garbage that you would normally choose to eat otherwise, vulnerability maybe weakness, its just more coverage for your real condis doing damage.

Locust over Spectral Walk is interesting, though have to admit my SW is burned far too often in combats for having used it for travel.

Please get rid of Dhuumfire and then balance everything else. >_>

Honest to god, I have no idea whats going on here… Feels like even if I made the exact same rotation as you twice I wouldn’t deal as much damage

Looks like people in bad gear, Ihave not seen the whole vid but most of them so far do not even have consumables.

I’m not surprised how fast those people go down.
However, I’m a little curious about the build as well.
He chose to go with Signet Mastery instead of Chill of Death (which would down those boon heavy classes even faster), but he kept Spiteful Spirit.
It seems to be 30/30/10, because he has Staff Mastery but no Greater Marks, and no points in Soul Reaping because the lf bar says 12k.
Sooo… what’s the 3rd Curses trait if you’re using nothing but signets?

I assumed it was lingering curses… but I didn’t look to much into it.

They aren’t clearing conditions. Watch their debuffs. Also that poor fellow with the birthday booster (Happy B-day!) was just trying to finish his living story achievements from the look of things.

I’m roaming on a condi necro myself and have similar results. Only difference is, I use spectal wall, spectal walk and corrupt boon. But that’s just personal taste, will try the sigils next time.

Anyhow. I guess it’s more of a 30/20/0/0/20 build with the essential 3 Traits: Dhuumfire, Terror and Master of Terror (and Signet mastery in this case). Reason being with Dire gear and runes of scavanging, you can take a beating easily. Nercos have always been tanky but Dire is a game changer. So there is not much need for vampirism. Also you don’t need 30 points in curses for Lingering Curse, since people remove conditions before they tick for a long time (at least that’s the smart thing to do). And if they don’t you don’t need them to tick very long either as video demonstrates.

On a side note:
You can do basically the same burst without Signet of Too-High-CD. All in all, I don’t think that is a good build, since you run plague signet and staff and ohd. It’s just overkill on condi cleanse. Blood is power would be much more fitting. And since you chose to more or less kill noobs, I gotta say, I am not really impressed with the fights…
