Downed DPS
Has to be some mighty glassy opponents you have been fighting there, unless you have a max damage build with 50% downed damage trait.
If you go down with a necro, it’s over, you have for whatever reason a lower HP pool than other classes in downed state yet it will still take ages to res you up.
It seems since the last patch that its been worse; that Life Leech isn’t nearly as effective as it used to be and I also notice my health falls faster than before.
If you have some healing power you can outlive your opponent. Maybe i’m mistaken, but running Shamans amulet I’ve noticed a difference. This shouldn’t be the case since its a siphon skill.
Actually, it’s correct for siphoning skills (not traits, though) to scale with your healing power. Life Siphon has a 5% healing power coefficient per pulse and Deadly Feast has a 10% coefficient on each pulse (but, keep in mind, is AoE). Signet of the Locust also has a healing coefficient (though I have not tested to see what it is).
The only skill that siphons health that lacks such a coefficient is Blood Fiend, but that is because minions don’t scale directly with the necro’s stats.
Now, our downed siphoning skills may lack such coefficients, but I doubt it.

Anyway I did manage to kill some kittens with number #2 ability, (despite how many times it fails), while using the terror trait,
Once he’s on the ground and assuming there’s nobody else around you can kill any class except a warrior or ranger using your number #3 ability,
Yeah, our 3rd skill does a huge amount of damage if you’re a power build. Even with our seemingly 1/3rd downed hp between the damage of the 3rd skill and the siphon of 1 it’s pretty easy to win downed fights.
