GS#2 Gravedigger , is it worth spamming ?
With trusting your ‘real’ attack speed of 2.0 seconds per grave digger and not actually checking the real attack speed for the auto attack and assuming the stated values are accurate at 2.5 seconds for the whole chain, the auto chain does about 5-10% more damage.
But keep in mind that I’m assuming the auto chain is 2.5 seconds and the numbers aren’t final. Still, the damage is lower than what I would have expected. The coefficient matches heartseeker for Thief, but they can spam that every .5 seconds or so?

So assuming the numbers in that topic are right (which by no means have to be accurate), yes spamming gravedigger will give higher dps then dagger auto.
I didnt account for a 0.75 second aftercast though. That seems a bit excessive. And i doubt that is the actual aftercast.

I didn’t see Spoj say what the actual coefficient was or what the base power was? Do you have those values cause the math is easy but I need one or the other.

You mean those?

In love when you are cleaving a downed body it would be. Since the downed person recharges it same as a -50% does.

That is what the tooltip explicitly stated…
Grave Digger DPS will depend upon how foolish your targets are. I consider it a PvE skill.

You can cast it while moving so you can prep it moving onto a downed target. It has extreme pve potential expecially with all the pull and pulls we have. Plus its extremely strong. damage coeff of 2.0 and aoe and fortargets below 50% its essentially an aoe backstab due to close to death only and better with vuln stacks.
can see several combos and applications for it .
While it might depend on targets messing up or more strict setup, we have so many potential big hits with new reaper, and GD is only on an 8s CD so its not like you can just save a dodge for it. Sure, it isn’t likely that you’ll just walk around hitting Gravediggers on every cast, but when you do hit it, it is just short of being backstabbed… in an AoE. And if an enemy goes down and start cleaving with GD? GG teamfight, time to wait for respawns.

Yeah. this feels like more of that movie monster style theme. The whole “If it grabs one of your friends DON’T try to save them unless you have something heavy to hit them with. Youl just die as well”
