I’ve done that build 2 week ago and I’m having some good times with it.

It’s a build that don’t use soul reaping like all the others, it’s a build that work good without it.
If you start the fight you need the staff to build up a little of life force, just in case, but when you do you can swap scepter/dagger and start to fight seriously with that build. That why scepter+dagger make this build able to fight both direct and condi builds.
Scepter make you able to inflict bleed, dealing damage and proccing the signet of vampirism by trait, inflict cripple and deal damage recharging a lot of LF.
Dagger offhand make you able to blind and transfer conditions, good both against condition and direct damage, skill 5 make you inflict weakness fo 7 seconds, that added to the trait make you able to inflict another 5 sec of weakness for the total of 12 sec of weakness, that reduce the direct damage and recharge of Endurance, making it unable to inflict high direct damage and reducing it’s dodges. You can add 7 seconds when you go in DS, making you able to spam weakness frequently.
The main damage is made by Minions, that also grant defence and condi transfer. That condi transfer make you inflict more condition damage and they heal you with every hit. They inflict 100 of damage with siphon damage by minor trait and vampiric aura, increasing they’re damage by 20-50%. Increasing it more with Vampiric Signet by trait.
Damage:
- Minions, powered by siphoning+vampiric+signet(every 20 sec for 6 sec when triggered)
- Bleed+direct damage, conditions transfered from you to the enemy by trait, dagger and staff skill 4 and minions and boon corrupted by DS skill 2
Defence:
- DS (not focused on but always needed)
- Flesh of the Master and Corrupter’s Fervor traits that increase your toughness by 540 (with jagged horror) and reduce condition damage by 20%. The toughness bonus grow up from +540 to +720 while in DS
- A large amount of Weakness that reduce direct damage
- High ability to transfer conditions from you to the enemy by minions, trait signet, sigil of generosity and weapon skills
- Health from siphon by minions, vampiric/siphon traits and lesser vampiric signet
I know that isn’t the best build ever and I made it with a lot of combo between weapon skills and traits, but it really work and make me kill a lot of players in 1vs1, both direct damage and condition builds.
The only problem is against rangers that hit from far and classes/builds like the warrior with GS that deal massive AoE direct damage, killing all my minions.
But I’m still able to survive a lot without my minions, making me sometimes able to summon them another time and win the fight. But only sometimes.
