So I have been working on a Necro build that kinda splits focus on two key elements, sending a lot of conditions, and keeping the heals and health bonuses going for you and your team.

Basically, I use the s/d combo to add lots of bleeds, my back up is actually the Axe/Focus combo. It has really quick stacking on vulnerability, a huge bonus for the team. I have been switching up #9 a lot. Not sure what I really want to have there. Was running the with Spite, switched to Plague, and also liked running with Undeath. Any suggestions to help this build become even stronger? Right now, my toughness and vitality are up, so my power is lacking a bit, but being able to last longer means I can help out teammates more and continue to stack on the conditions.

If you ask me to choose between signet of spite and plague signet, I will choose plague signet every time. I just don’t really like the mix of conditions from spite that much, and the huge recharge just kills it for me. Meanwhile, plague is an interesting / fun gimmick especially when you’re loaded with condition removal / transfer.

Gear wise, are you planning on stacking up healing power? I’m not a huge fan of deathly invigoration unless you’ve got some serious healing power or the 5 second death shroud trait to back it up. You could remove 10 points from blood magic and put them into death magic for the ‘cleanse condition on death shroud’ trait, which is yet another condition removal to make sure plague signet doesn’t turn against you.

Also… I’m not totally sold on the “life force drains more slowly” trait for this kind of build. Correct me if I’m wrong, but death shroud is only hurting your damage output, so you should be using it defensively, at which point the drain speed matters less since most of your life force will get used up blocking damage. I’d switch it for the 15% shorter recharges on death shroud skills, to get more healing transfusions.

That’s what I’d change and why, in any case.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

I pretty much agree with Softspoken. Deathly Invigoration is weak, so Shrouded Removal or Spiteful Removal makes more sense. You also don’t have any extra Vitality, which could help you buffer some of the Condition damage you’d be getting from Plague signet.

You’re not going to have much Power, so I’d consider Plague form over Lich elite. Maybe swap out your sigils for Sigil of Perception and Sigil of Generosity or Water.

Stealth nerfs are the perfect fertilizer for mistrust.

After listening to some of your suggestions, this is the few changes I did with the build. I changed up some of the equipment to give me more vitality, as well I changed some of my trait tree. I mostly went for the bottom trait for the bonus in condition damage. But I noticed the top trait gives bonus to duration which for some reason I have been overlooking haha.

As well, I chose the Asura race, so those abilities are also at my disposal. Contemplated the D-Golem so I could pull some of the agro off of my character.
