Pictured is my current look but I feel the CoF helmet doesnt quite fit the necro look but I cannot for the life of me find a suitable one so am asking for some input from my fellow necro’s

Help me decide please as right now I am completely stuck

I’d say the order of whispers helmet would look nice.

I myself use the SE helmet, simply because I love the feeling it gives to my Necromancer, and it fits well with my mix of cultural armor.

Try the ones from outside Arah, they are really ghastly :P.

Mhm why not wraith paint? Or skull paint… or demon paint. Granted I personally never found skull paint all that good looking.

Thats also my favorite but sadly it hides the Bull’s Mantle when equipped so is a nogo

Shame they removed Tribal from the game during the 2nd BWE, that armor set was amazing. My personal recommendation is the Arah helm if you don’t like the necro-only facepaint.

If by Necro-only facepaint you meant the stuff you get during character creation then I no longer have it.

Arah helm is looking like my best shot right now, however I have tweaked stuff today and the CoF helmet seems to fit a little better now.

You can get it again. Make a 2nd necro, buy a white helm with an upgrade slot, then transmute the facepaint to the generic helm using a Basic Transmutation Stone. Then use a Fine Transmutation Stone to transmute it onto your current helm.

Yep this. All it takes is making a necro and finishing tutorial then transmuting look to a lvl10 hat changing it from soulbound to account bound. Also highly recommend having a backup in bank just in case anet nerfs this.

So they removed the tribal armor? I saw it on dulfy and was excited to go for the witch doctor look. =(

Technically speaking it wasn’t removed – its still in the PvP locker, though where the heck you get it from within spvp is beyond me. However the karma vendor that sold it for pve was removed and there is nowhere to get it there for now.

Did you try wvw? The dry bones helm is some sort of animal skull, perhaps honey badger.

Dry Bones and Shadow are the same armor set — the issue is that the helm skin has the shoulder skin attached to it (one of only two armor sets I can think of like this including the Whispers helm) so it covers the OPs shoulder skin. And he likes those shoulders kitten it. Lol.
