[Necromancer] Fetid Consumption
Each minion has a unique timer on it. However, what the trait doesn’t tell you is that the necro himself is not the only one they pull conditions from. They’ll also pull conditions from your allies, which will use their 1/10seconds pull.
Why was this posted in the Balance Forum instead of the Necro forum if you weren’t sure how it actually worked?

well, i thought if this grandmaster trait is broken, underpowered, then i figured it would deserve a buff, and the profession balance forum seems to have more traffic in it. at least that is what i think.
and … i am right! right now these grandmaster trait is not exactly working as intended since it also draws conditions off allies of the necromancer.
let us read the in game description again.
“Each summoned minion draws conditions from their master.”
i see master only. no allies. so i propose we fix the trait, or fix the description. well personally i would want them to fix the trait since the concept of personally removing up to 6 unique conditions every 10 seconds seems very nice to have.
at the moment, it is only personal condition removal in a 1 vs 1 situation.
what do you think? which is better?
selfish personal condition removal only?
group wide support conditional removal better?
an easy fix would be to fix the description, other wise i can always edit the wiki to show more information.

And the answer is group support. Necros do just fine with conditions on ourselves, but we are sorely lacking in group utility. Minion Masters are strongest with one opponent, and those are usually duel situations, so the Necro himself is getting the full cleansing effect anyway.

well, the in game description is still incorrect though.
if only editing the in game description would be as easy as editing a wiki page then perhaps we can edit them ourselves too.

Does the trait removes conditions from your minions in a 1v1 situation? Against a nade engi for example.
Pretty sure it doesn’t remove from other minions. I don’t know about other summoned allies.
To a mod: Please move this thread to the Necro forum where it actually belongs, as it is not discussing the balance of the trait.

Also, I believe the minion that pulls the condition off also acquires that condition. I’ve also seen pulled conditions last 10 times longer on those minions. I’ve watched my full life blood fiend die from a 4 sec burn it pulled from me that never timed out on it. The most obvious example of this is when you are standing on a point in temple of storms and someone takes tranq. All your minions end up with ~30 seconds of chill.
