Hey Guys, I am trying to play Necro in a way that not a lot of people like to play them but I personally love it.

I like to play Power/Precision as I see their life melt with my Dagger and slightly slower on Solo, but great in groups with my Axe and probably add some Healing to it for the Siphon Life on Crit Trait.

So I’m currently level 25 but I’m gonna speed level the hell out of my Necro so I want to know what I should go by on Traits and maybe armor.

I am thinking of maybe Knight’s Armor since Berserker would make me kinda squishy just for the extra damage, but the Toughness from Knight’s can combine well with the large health pool necros have.

As for Traits I have no idea at all on what to run, my choice of weaponry that is probably not gonna change even if it’s too Single-Target Oriented is this:

Dagger/Warhorn: More Mobility, an Immobilize, Some Life-Leeching. Mobility + Cripple in a nice AoE and a Daze, AoE again.

Axe/Focus: Vulnerability, high Damage with Axe2, Cool AoE and Retaliation stacking with Axe3, AoE bouncing Scythes lol and a Chilling attack.

:D

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I currently run a beserker wells build with the same weapon sets as you. Knights is also good if you are worried about dieing. For traits I use this setup:

Soul reaping is a really strong tree for this type of build but you can really swap things around. Ive tried using life siphon before and it was pretty good but i wanted more damage and didnt really need the sustain in pve. You could also try 20/20/0/0/30 or 30/30/0/0/10. Both still do very good damage in a beserker damage build. I tend towards 30 in soul reaping due to the stability which is very useful in a lot of dungeons but its personal preference. Also the 25 points in soul reaping provides a pretty nice damage boost.

There is a build that relies completely on the PVT stats to grab massive amounts of durability. You basically have 0 crit chance or crit damage but you will still hit extremely high by using Superior Sharpening Stone ( I think thats the one, though I might be wrong) which gives you power equal to a percentage of your toughness and vitality.

This build is extremely tanky but still hits pretty high, at least from what I’ve heard about it. I personally play conditionmancer, but am looking into getting the PVT gear for this setup. The gear isn’t very hard to obtain either as AC exp rewards have PVT gear.

Hey thanks a lot for the info, spoj.

I will have to check because the Crit Damage and the DS thing sound good but I mainly use DS as a second Health Bar now :P so I might invest in someting like Vitality and Healing specially if I’m going Knight’s

@Thor: Thanks a lot. I will have to review that. Nobody wants to do AC anymore and getting PVT for my Guardian was a pain in the kitten to buy with Karma and wait for tempels to open lol.
