PvE Condition Build?
I wanna say for PvE you could also get 30 into spite for the condition duration and Dhuumfire……but at the same time I’m not sure how many traits would actually be helpful.
Also since you are using staff I feel 10 into death magic for greater marks is a must.

my pve conditionmancer runs full rabid with 0/30/20/20/0
30 : 2,7,11
20 : 2,4
20 : 1,8
Heal Skill : Well of Blood,really great party heal(gives protection to anyone in the area for first 3 seconds thanks to a trait.), and Consume Conditions.
Utilities : Blood is power/Corrupt Boons, Signet of the Locust/Signet of Undeath(parties), Epidemic/Corrosive Poison Cloud(for single targets like bosses).
Elite skills(personal opinions) : best elites are Plaqueform and Flesh Golem.
6/6 runes of the undead
scepter: sigil of earth
dagger offhand : sigil of agony
Staff secondary : Sigil of earth
trident: Sigil of earth
i have little over 1600 condition damage unbuffed
i run something similar in WvW and that is the 0/30/20/0/20 build(fear bombing people)

quick question, why put 20 into death for the 3s of protection for wells, when you can go to 30 in vampiric and get Siphon health each time it pulses?

Pretty much just load up targets with conditions, Epidemic, and Fear/Torment them while they burn and melt. I don’t know if its really any better/worse than my previous power-focused zerker/knight axe/focus/staff (which shines for single-target), but it allows for more kiting without loss of DPS. One downside is low LF generation.
It seems to do pretty well, although I usually like more Toughness (e.g., swap some/all Rampager trinkets for Carrion or Rabid). I might use Carrion weapons instead, but this just happens to be the equipment I currently have.
Also, I’m liking the Adventurer runes. Usually when I need to heal I’ve also been dodging and am out of endurance, so getting free endurance with a heal is quite nice.
I don’t know if I’ll stick with this, but it seems quite nice for open-world PVE.

the reason why is because it allows for some good team support for things like dungeons. i know guardian can support better but the idea to to help your backline players that are with you. your consumables will also boost your condition damage up due to it getting a bigger boost from all the vitality. thats how i play though. if i remember correctly the siphon health is only 10 hp per pulse, which is rather weak.
