Suggestions to MoC
Corruptions in general and MoC both need a serious look at.
For CPC it could be made into projectile destruction as base. Self conditions should be scrapped on the base versions unless you buff all of them considerably. MoC should do more than just cool down reduction. It should increase effectiveness of corruption skills or add some other condi related effect (condi transfer on life blast).
Consume conditions should not apply conditions after the cast is complete ever. This completely destroys its function as a condi cleanse. It prevents the player from getting out of combat. And there is no benefit to having self conditions on this skill. If you want to transfer you would transfer before using consume which means you lose the health bonus and then the final transfer to send the vuln is wasted. It doesnt make sense.
Master of Corruption
Reduces cooldown of Corruption skills by x%, but adds another self-condition to the Corruption skill. Transferred conditions have their durations refreshed and increased by y%.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
I do agree about the consume conditions. I hate it when a healing skill put a negative effect when used for any class. It should not happened in the first place. However, I’m pretty sure Anet won’t change it, might as well try to make it not as bad as it is now.
I’d take MoC if the skills would inflict more condition stacks on me. Yeah, i am not crazy. If i got inflicted for something around 5~8 torment stacks over 2 stacks i’d send them to foe right away. 8 torment stacks burst is STRONG!

Don’t think I would want that. I don’t like the idea that unless you use a corruption skill together with a condi transfer, you are gimping yourself. This makes you very predictable. With the right timing, your opponent will dodge the transfer and you are out of luck.
I am still advocating that corruption skills should apply their negative effect not just to yourself. Ideally, make MoC corrupt a boon on everyone around you (yourself included) when using a corruption skill. Would make much more sense than self-inflicted condi. These are CORRUPTION skills after all.

What it it made the skills inflict an additional condition on yourself, but both conditions also got applied to foes near you?
Cooldown reduction traits are boring and need a looking at.
Especially if anet is just going to nerf cooldowns to accommodate the Cooldown trait. Then the Cooldown trait functions as a tax on the player. What’s more fun than taxes.
Anet said they were moving away from Cooldown traits, and most of the still remaining Cooldown traits have an additional function.
Except for Master of Corruption. All it does for the player is Cooldown.
Master of corruption ought to be sent back to the drawing board.
I think the best way to deal with CC, if they insist on making it a corruption, is having it apply cripple or chill when it starts channeling. That way, you gain a disadvantage when using it, but the skill itself is still a properly functioning condi cleanse.

This is what i suggested in another thread as well. Its a bandaid solution. But its much better than what we are getting. The ideal would be no conditions on the base versions of corruption skills.
