Underwater Self-Stun abilities
Add ele earth 3 skill to that too. It’s always nice to accidentally click it and pull yourself with interrupt to the boss and enjoy the wtf moment when you can’t do anything.
its bad when you got to learn not to use certain skills and i totally agree op it doesnt make sense to me its almost like the stun should have gone to the target not to self would have made more sense
Yeah, I stay away from using those kinds of abilities… It never made any sense why they do this…
The necro skill also applies 5 bleeds but the self stun sure is crap.
Apart from that one skill i think necro underwater set is still far more enjoyable than everything we got on land. It just combos together more nicely, has some mobility and really great skills.
Dark spear isnt really a problem (nor a real self stun like renektons in LoL) if you use the trick of casting it during the 2 spin (it stops the spin, sure but it also removes the pull aftercast) or using it as a bleed burst after swapping from tridents sink.
I’d guess there was some reason during beta for this self-stun (or self-disable, whatever), or they thought they were cleverly mirroring the self-bleeds on BiP. Either way it seems inane.
I usually use Spectral Grasp underwater instead, since it generates LF, as well as not being self-disabling..
While the selfstun is not acceptable, you can abuse it somewhat: You will trigger reaper’s protection upon using Dark Spear which you can follow up with fear wave for incredible aoe fear!
