so im back to leveling my necro since pvp sucks and in the 50s there was ravaging gear with precision, toughness and condition dmg. then in the 60s all i can find is carrion gear with power vit and condition damage… not a huge issue since im running a staff/scepter/well build so the power is nice but is there no more ravaging type gear from 60+? what are people using for wvw?

Look mate, there are no real gear picks/sets until you’re level 80 man. Just level with heart quests, get gear from the karma vendors after doing the heart quest,s and save your cash until you get 80. Or do dungeons and save your badges etc., until you can buy exotic 80 gear. Spending money on anything sub 80 exotic is a waste. I dont think I have been at one level for longer than 3 hours of play. Just economize until you hit 80 and can buy one set (full carrion exotic can be bought for about 12-15 gold if you are patient). After you have one set of exotic, and 1 decent exotic weapon, start grinding dungeons man to get the skin/stats you want, and get your jewelry up to 80 exotic.

Don’t worry about anything until 80.

P.S. GW2 is a grind man, don’t let anyone fool you. It is a grind for gold, material, or badges to buy gear, because GW2’s economy is so messed up that the material you need to buy to make the gear (unless you grinded for the material) costs almost equal to the finished piece.

There is exotic level 80 armor with those stats, I am at work so I can’t check to see if there’s other armor with it.

For WvWvW I use Knight’s for my power build.

uh buying gear is cheap. I buy new gear (greens/yellows) about every 5-10 levels at a few copper more than they vendor for with purchase orders, so when youre done you just vendor it and break even. I haven’t bought anything with karma.

Simple matter of fact in GW2 is that if it can be crafted, it will be on the Trade post in huge quantities. There gear is there, maybe you misspelled or something when you were looking

At level 60+ you will see differently labeled gear. The Prec/Tough/CondDmg you are looking for is called Rabid, which is not craftable.

Like lettucemode said, Knights armor is good.
