hybrid (condition damage and crit)
Interesting. I’d probably replace CPC with Epidemic for two reasons: 1) the 9 sec self-weakness is very counterproductive on a power build or you must use CC or dagger4 to clear it; 2) Epidemic will almost certainly result in more total damage dealt than CPC.
Edit: I just noticed you selected WvW in the build editor. To me it seems kinda squishy for WvW.
This is what i’ve been running for my hybrid build,
Your Power and Crits look good, but you Condition Damage looks a bit low. You want to make sure you have a decent Condition base as the conditions are going to add a decent amount of damage to your build before you burst with your Axe, but what you have is a good start keep tweaking it to your play style.
There’s just so little synergy in necro hybrid builds. Why would you take a vulnerability-stacking weapon with kitten dps, when condis bypass armor anyway. Weapon scaling either HEAVILY favors power or condidamage. The only exception – the staff – has the worst dps of all the necro weapons and is usually taken for utility or wvw tagging.
(Oh, and pure conditionmancer already is a crit build, just saying :/)
If you stack might you don’t need to have super high Condition Damage,800 to 900 is all you really need. With BiP it will get you over 1100 easy.
After playing around around with the new updates,I finely found my new build.I use a celestial back, but the build editor doesn’t have that.
thank you guys for all the great feedback:). I will switch out cpc for Epidemic. I have seen Epidemic use in youtube. It looks very cool. it also spread another people’s cond. as well.
I try to get more condition damage, but in order to do so, I will lose out on crit. It is kind of hard to pick which I want more…lol. I will have to make do with buffs.
Sulli, I like your build as well. I will play around with more of those status and see what I can get out of.
I am just not a Staff fan. It is low in damage and hard to target (for me it is…not a mark person. I have try it in pvp, it works out great).
I will play around with a few builds in pvp and see who it work out. Thank you guys:). Anymore feedback, keep them coming.
