Interesting. That’s in the range of numbers that make it useful, although at the cost of a better pet.
Not sure how well the 5 target + regen will play together though since there is so much regen thrown around. Might be nice for WvW roaming though.
just a thought on the warroir they have a Grandmaster Minor trait that grants 10 healing power for every might stack they apply , using Phalanx strenght does that Transfer the 10 healing stat too since the warroir Applied it? i may have to ask a warroir to test it.
if so would the pet gain onther 250 healing stat from 25 might if applied by Phalanx strenght? sounds like it should work on paper but does it in game?
where you traited in BM when you tested this? if not that would a nice cooldown reduction on the heal. Moa heals should be right up there as well.
That’s a pretty significant heal, the only build i could really see using it well would be a BM bunker though.

With natural healing, you could say the fern hound is almost like having a second “we heal as one”.
Moas should heal for even more, but split up between their own heal and the one on demand on F2. Natural healing doesn’t scale as well with moa as the fern hound though, their Harmonic cry only goes from 3,250 to 3,340.
I already tested the moas. they heal for 4500 with Natural Regen. I have tried moa + fern hound with settler stats and it’s pretty fun. but in current state of the game, the damage is too huge to heal through. maybe later this sort of build will be more useful.
lack of vitality on useful amulets is a huge problem for us. crusader is probably ok.

According to the wiki, the range for Fern’s howl is 600, while for IB it’s 360.
Ran into a ranger running this tonight, and it won us the fight.
In WvW, I was fighting a warrior when I noticed the ranger’s downed icon, run over and start rezzing him while getting cleaved by the warrior and necro that downed him. I thought we were hosed but I knew if I didn’t get him up I was toast. I’m half dead when out of nowhere I’m full health. Pretty little fernhound standing next to me. I get him up and we win the fight.

IIRC the actual heal is something like 2580. With Pets increased Healing Power (by trait for 450) IB would heal 2580 + 225 = 2805. On top of this the healing will be increased by the Players HP same way.
The every best would be, if it removes 1 condition on top, but i think, we can’t get that

Yes, I also know with fern hound and a little bit traitet u will get with the F2 additional 1450 + 15s heal (2794) = 4244.
Nevertheless, I think scaling with HP should be integrated.
