Ranger got nothing and Warrior got a bunch of buffs. Something is seriously rotten up at ArenaNet.

Noticed that too. Also noticed that we don’t get a longbow or shortbow skin either. Thank you Anet for finally putting a nail in the coffin.

Hey, at least now we don’t have to worry about giving a kitten what the holiday weapons look like anymore.

there are bow skins. theres a spider bow skin. check the preview youtube video they put up on twitter. its not from black lion chests tho i think its from a vendor. but anyway…. QQ for no updates.

This is just ridiculous. Week after week rangers receive little to nothing then they get hit with a slower auto-attack speed for the shortbow as a “bug fix” without compensating the lower attack speed with increased damage.

I was really looking forward to this update, not necessarily for the Halloween content, but for the potential ranger fixes! After reading the path notes I’m deeply let down, seeing so many changes for other classes yet not a single one for rangers.

Oh and warrior gets buffed….yeah thats fair..

I’m pretty much furious at this point and pretty much debating on even logging on, I have a level 77 warrior but I’m moreso upset with these practices that are being used….its almost as though they are doing this on purpose to watch the QQing..

I LOLed pretty hard after looking through the list very slowly about 4 times to find the lack of even a mention of Ranger..

I leveled it fell in love with it and have been stuck playing Guardian because the class is so hopeless at the moment….

MAYBE the lack of Ranger notes is because they are reworking it from the ground up instead of just throwing a patch on a broken class…

We will be a pure Beastmaster class. Its the same system as before except we can’t use weapons and our pets do 100% of our damage. There’s a special achievement you get to display for 6 months of solid game play without rage quitting. Very few will earn it…

Their stats probably show an overpopulation of Rangers happily playing along with the existing build. Thoese arguing that the nerf and alternate gameplay makes Ranger fine don’t help.

They are probably trying to get people to stop playing Rangers, I for one did. Started a warrior – Woot, glad to see it being buffed even more.

Man this is really disheartening. Not even a word. Every class got some kind of fix or change…except the crappy ranger.

I personally believe that every MMO dev in the history of the industry just hates the range/pet class. It seems that no matter what I play, or where I go, we always get the kitten end of the deal.

Seriously. Is Anet trolling us? Anyways we will not need to worry about bots for long. Very soon, they will all jump ship and bot with warriors. Even elementalist got a buff. I just do not know what to say that is not filled with RAGE.

Actually there are already Warrior bots, they just aren’t as obvious and detectable as Ranger bots. The botters are probably simply using Rangers as the whipping boy to keep attention away from other class bots.

They will likely just close it.
As for disliking rangers, I used to think that was maybe just a little QQ but man, no patch love, not even a mention; no Halloween skins for bows and our Legendary bows still look like Fischer-Price kiddie toys. I gotta concur…

Anet just save your self the effort and remove Rangers from the game and forums.
Stop giving us false hopes of updates and let us move on to other classes/other non-Anet games.

Yeah remove ranger from the game, that will fix ALL your problems anet.

Yup, no special skins for weapons the average ranger uses (bows and axe) and no class fixes/balances/mention of rangers actually being a thing that should be talked about…

I was looking forward to getting back in for the event with my ranger tonight. Maybe tomorrow this ranger will remember GW2 is a thing, in spite of GW2 forgetting rangers are a thing.

Pretty much, they may be banking on people buying gems, but they still have far less reason to keep us on board vs a subscription game simply because they got 100% of the guaranteed money out of us already.

Soon they’re gonna just drop a banhammer on rangers because at this rate bots are gonna be the only ones using it.

In GW1 they pretty much ignored the class for years. But then that was because they were too busy playing catch up with all the new skills and classes they added every 6 months with their expansion campaigns. Here, I don’t know what the deal is. I guess they just don’t like rangers at anet.

Pretty much the same. The only difference is that it took a few years of nerfs to truely ruin the class where as they did it before the game even launched this time around.

Oh ya, and we saw sporadic glory in PvP only to have them go nuclear on the skills used because people couldn’t handle anything but balanced teams running out the clock.

Ranger is broken and i dont think they are planning to fix it anytime soon.

I’m as surprised as the rest of you that we didn’t get an update…very disappointing. I was looking forward to this patch in hopes that it would give me some reason to pick up my Ranger…saddly not.

They were pretty much left out in GW1 and it looks like it’s going to be the same here.

Maybe nobody at ArenaNet plays a Ranger.

Is simple, dont play with our rangers until we have some news.
No more rangers in GW2 before.

Even better is all of the warriors saying that their fixes/buffs are so insignificant and that shows ANet doesn’t care about them. Quite a few insisting they’ve never even been mentioned in patches up to this point (they’ve had a total of 9 buffs and 0 nerfs in previous patches).
