Ugly low level short bows -> newbie fix.
Yes, i love transmuting, been transmuting since level 20 xD on an irrelevant note… i’m running dual sets , depending on purpose, but i have shortbow and longbow for bosses, compliments each other so well but anyway, for weapon skins Ebon Vanguard shortbow and longbow… have the exact same weapon skin! not to mention it looking so sleek. So right now it’s so epic because it looks like i never changed bows!!! XD SO AWESOME. they better not change it :P
<3 long shortbows.
On a sidenote, I just want to express my love of ranger in WvW, it’s so much fun to roam around and surprising people 1vs1 and 1vs2.. range rules in WvW, both for zergs, wall sieges and kiting the lone warrior or guardian who thought it was cool to go full glass cannon.
The only problem is I’ve no decent way to remove conditions.. I think with our forest magic we should be able to do some healing, or make a salve that removes 2 conditions on a 25s cooldown.. it’s also pretty hard getting stability.
Imo my guardian had the coolest utility skills of all professions, I wish ranger’s Lightning Reflexes was a bit better, or at least a shorter cooldown, or remove immobilize/chilled/crippled as well.

i usually have signet of renewal, but thats still every 10 seconds, but it does help, u can use the signet active where pet pulls all conditions, then maybe swap pets or something.
60 second cooldown removal isn’t so hot.
HAH Another person who refers to short bows as toy bows.
But yeah, Iike the ascalonian ghastly short bow. it has a good length
Yeah for some reason our condition removal is garbage. A lot of people don’t even both with running the signet. I’m starting to want to incorporate Protect Me into my build and just trying to mitigate as much of the damage as possible before dying but even that doesn’t look very appealing.
You could take the heal that removes them in pulses BUT that limits you to that very short amount of space for a profession that should really be very mobile and dodgy. We just don’t really have the condition removal/avoidance as other professions (from our perspective) and it saddens me.
