I just use “She Beats Me” for all my pets. Keeps it consistent.

I name my drakes “Lot Lizard”

Named my wolf “Apple maps” Because he’s always getting lost.

A murrelow (sp) and a polar bear. One called Jack, other called Ripper. Too on the nose?

I named my murrelow Ren and my lynx Stimpy.

I have Mr Snugglesworth (Snow Leopard), Lord Woofington (Wolf), Lord WibbleWobble (Jellyfish) and Mr Bubbles (Armorfish).

I’m tempted to rename Mr Snugglesworth ‘Chairman Meow’.

Hah, my kitty IRL is named Chairman Meow. It’s a big “whoosh” for most people that don’t share my sense of humor. He’s even fat, lazy, and craves attention.

I was fully into being creative with names until I realised, the names didn’t stick so now naturally all my pets are named Juvenile.

My friend named hers Hug My Owner XD

My hound is called “Scooby Doo”, my feline is “Mr. Bigglesworth” and my bear is “Yogi”.

Oh and my shark is "Shark"y (as in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharky_%26_George – I assume the rest of the references are common enough to not need explaining)

My shark’s name is “Vegetarian” (I’m a sylvari).

My current Lynx is Tomokato Meowra, samurai cat.

White Wolf – Gwynbleidd ( You rock if you get this. Also not the band. )
Raven – Eric Draven ( Yes I know, I know, he’s the CROW, but ravens are in the crow family. So yay. )
Wolf – Faolan ( Means “little wolf”.)
Polar Bear – Matoskah ( Means “white bear” in Sioux )
Shark – Toothless ( lol )
Blue Moa – Violet Beauregarde
Jungle Spider – Eww ( yes, that’s his name. )
Salamander Drake – Toasty ( I’m looking at you, Mortal Kombat. )

My warthog’s name is Pumba. Then I have Tom Murellow, a murellow. Finally, my eagle is named Murca Freedombeak.

Named my Murellow Prince Charming. He’s ugly as sin, but is a great tank. Haven’t named other pets, since they names don’t stick and I don’t really use them.

For my pets I like to stick with:

Spider – Octonom
Jaguar – B A Baracus
Wolf – Papa Emeritus

Black Bear: “Necessity”
Lashtail: “Live Bait”

I just wish the names sticks to every pets. It’s annoying when I have to rename them every single time (with the exception of my Arctodus, his name “Arthur” never changes XD)

Pet names stick when you don’t change what pet you have equipped. You can hotswap in combat without issue but if you replace a pet in a slot the new pet will have the old pet’s name.

I also have some confusing names for my pets in sPvP. I use spirits heavily so I named them to look like spirits.
Hyena:Spirit of teeth
Wolf:Spirit of Fear
Shark:Spirit of Jaws
Jellyfish: Spirit of Rainbow

Funnies names I saw others have was a single ranger with an eagle and a raven named "Irate Birds" and "Furious Birds"

Even tho I have all the pets I only tend to use the same few, and only name some of the ones I actually use

Most times I run with twin devourers and they are called Itchy & Scratchy.
Spiders are named Fluffy .
My Armoured fish is called Scampi but I stopped using it when I realised how amusing the devourer looks when it swims … like a giant prawn lol

When I played Vanguard the necro pet looked like it was made up of different body parts so I named it Oddbod (1960’s movie ‘Carry on Screaming’) but there aren’t really any pets for a ranger in GW2 that I can use that for

Arctodus: Herpes
Polar Bear: Gonorrhea
Reef Drake: Chlamydia
Salamander Drake: Syphillis

Sometimes when trolling I run around with a Moa.
Pink Moa: Flaming Gheydom

Or my shark.
Shark: Just Keep Swimming

Why do my pet names keep resetting ??? I have to rename them every time i log in because the name is reset to Juvenile <insert pet type> -,-

i keep naming my eagle “Murica” and my brown bear “Honey Boo Boo” but they keep resetting -,-

My brown bear is arbitrarily named “Mr Sparkles PhD” which draws some little attention while I’m wandering the endless plains of the emptiness that is low level zones while trying to find that last heart task so I can get on with my world completion.
