How to fix Mallyx in 5 easy steps!
1.) I’d just change Unyielding to the Invulnerability and put something else on Banish. That’s fix UA all around, and would need no special rules attached to it.
2.) I disagree. It’s already strong and making it triggerablenadds adds to the Energy starvation issues, adds needless complexity and makes an already powerful skill less predictable and frustrating, plus, it would prevent you from chaining it for mobility or new area denial zones.
3. Wouldn’t be necessary if you didn’t do the above.
4. Fine either way. Wouldn’t mind a slight baseline reduction in cast time, honestly.
5. Yeah, all upkeep skills atm feel janky… Gotta love going to cast your heal and your energy bottoming-out and canceling it…

The idea behind Mallyx’s skills is that they inflict condition.
You can counter that self-cripple incredibly easily just by using Demonic Defiance (I hope I remember it right) trait (which should’ve been baseline btw, as it trumps other two adepts in tier).
Leap, activate Embrace the Darkness, deactivate Embrace the Darkness, now you have no cripple anymore because Resistance blocked it’s effect. I like that cripple, personally, as I can EtD and copy it to people chasing me.
Mallyx is best designed legend for now, by far, imo. Most of the problems people seem to have with it are just matter of numbers (which will be tweaked anyway).
The only thing we really lack for every legend is just 2 bonus utility skills we can swap to if we like, so Unyielding isn’t mostly dead in PvE zerging etc.

Unyielding Anguish is a very powerful skill in almost any situation. Because of the self cripple it cannot be used as a leap outside of combat, it doesn’t matter if there is cripple when you are in combat because most likely you will have resistance. Also, because it is very strong, it may get nerfed in the future, it’s better to change some aspects of it’s now to have a crappy skill later. Finally, because it’s very strong, the energy cost is too high, which can be lowered with either weakening or reworking it.
tl;dr I don’t want UA to get nerfed or stay at 35 cost and the best way to solve it is reworking it. Out of combat leap would be a bonus.

UA is pretty much the best utility skill across all legends. I would hate to see that nerfed period!!
Its great for tanking as well as capturing. Also good for throwing off zergs in WvW.
by far the best Revenant skill. Right now i say Demon is perfect in its current form besides numbers. But also need more skills to pick from.
They are all good skills but you simply can’t lower their costs or cooldowns and wish them to be balanced. If these are lowered, they have to be nerfed somehow and nerfing the numbers is still not a good idea as it will make the skill a lot less useful. The best way is keeping the best aspects of it and reworking how the rest works imo.
