I suggest somewhere secluded and shady.

Feel free to suggest your favorite cemetery within Gw2, along with what you feel would be the most reasonable time for this event in order for people to attend and donate flowers.

Right now I am just waiting for “Black Desert” to launch beta in the states. I think I am done with Anet and it’s hate for the stealth rogue. I have been a supporter since GW1 beta. Now I feel like I have to dub this “National kitten on Theives Day”

Check out Wildstar, it’s going f2p tuesday (prefect timing, with the patch notes being released – /tin-foil-hat-on maybe that’s their plan, to get the thief players to play Wildstar.) Just note, it is backed by NCSoft who’s also backing ANet.

Thanks for the support bois. I’ve been trying Wildstar and B&S. Wildstar feels dead, but maybe F2P will fix that. I’ve been playing on B&S Taiwan and it feels really active and balanced. China servers are P2W, while Taiwan isn’t. Hopefully the NA cash shop isn’t P2W.

Nah, it had a bad start and bad media/word around it. Worth giving a shot come f2p release.

It’s kinda like if WoW + GW2 + Borderlands had a baby.

Borderlands – for the humor and futuristic theme.
GW2 – for the action combat.
WoW – for the themepark MMORPG. And the cartoony art.

Easy there Adam, Eve is the jealous type.

I do think GW2 is the “best” in terms of potential, but to see my 2 favorite classes be in the hands of someone with absolutely no passion for them, is heartbreaking. I keep setting myself up for disappointment. After three years, I just don’t feel like anything will ever change.

I love the new thief elite spec, and I think it’s great that it draws focus away from stealth and towards the other aspects of thief. Daredevil is the only elite spec I can confidently say I’m definitely going to pursue on any of my characters.

If on Tuesday the patch is a complete fail in our eyes, I suggest we organize the Spiritual Funeral of the Thief on Thursday a day before the patch.

Everybody gets naked with their favorite weapon set and like the started hood, and with broken dreams of course.
I suggest we walk from Lion’s Arch to some random cemetery while, cluster bombing everything in our path.

In the meantime we can finally meet, and just QQ some more.

I am not even joking gentlemen. this is for real.

You are well within your right to be pleased with things as they are.
That does not at all invalidate the things others are saying, however, and for you to, essentially, stand before a crowd of dozens and say “Everyone is so wrong… everyone but me.”

I dunno. Did you know a thief’s effective healthpool (armor rating * base vitality) is only about 10% higher than an eles? In reality its much worse due to eles far superior healing capability. How come eles get so many more skills and workable traits? Check out www.metabattle.com PvP ranked builds. There are only 2 thief builds listed out of a total of 27, exuding testing / troll builds. Including expermimental builds, 2/35. (Should be about 4+/35 thief builds).

People are annoyed because thieves have been repeatedly nerfed, whilst all other professions have been buffed. The 4 buffs revealed on the stream are mostly inconsequential as far as PvP is concerned.

Acrobatics is in this weird state where it is currently useless on its own, then sort of buffs daredevil. Daredevil straight up copies old acro traits (increased damage after dodging). Then the daredevil dodge mechanic has to be chosen via traits, when most professions are getting an f5. The mechanic itself is just an added passive effect to dodge.

There is no denying that daredevil will make a strong evasion spec. But isn’t this almost exactly what we had pre – acrobatics nerf with S/D?

Shadow arts was nerfed. D/P is still the only weapon set that can properly utilize the shadow arts trait line.

Crit strikes design is lazy and ill thought out. +5% crit chance while over 90% health? There is a sigil that gives +7% crit chance all the time. 50% vulnerability for 5 secs chance on crit? There is a sigil that gives 10 seconds of vulnerability with 60% chance on crit. Arguably useless pistol +10% damage trait.

When was the last time you played a build without trickery? Baseline thief mechanics are so bad everyone takes trickery to make them viable.

Why are so many of our traits just worse versions of Sigils?

I’ve just seen the Druid’s reveal page in the annoucement section… 4 screenshots with stance, then the brand new transformation, skill visual effect and new pet.

The same average as other profession… oh wait except the Daredevil.
Remember ?
2 pathetic screens with : An asura with hammer stance… and an uppercut-like staff attack (with the visual effect of a stick auto-attack). And that was it.

From that very moment I knew something was off with that spec to tell the truth.

You could just invade all other forums like “yo, we got it worse”. And they will tell you, you are working as intended. - wut.
