IS, IA and SS are working terribly now.
I cant use Inf Arrow on the side of a simple ramp/stair as it used to be. And this was the best use for it, as in a straight line is faster (and more ini efficient) to just HS or run.
Honestly, they should restore the skills to how they were, but add revealed to them and make them longer range, so mobility thieves have a place. Currently stealth thieves reign all. Who complained about IS anyways over stealth/backstab?

Those who think the Shadow’s Return part of that skill is OP…. Trust me, people complain about everything!!

All shadowstep (so IA too) are completly useless now in WvW, 95% of the time you don’t teleport.
I just think it’s odd that the devs stated that thieves would be getting their mobility buffed as compensation for some nerfs, and the first thing they do is nerf Infiltrator’s Strike and Infiltrator’s Arrow, our two hands-down best mobility weapon skills. I understand that IS was a ‘bug fix’, but however you word it, the change nerfed mobility.
There was nothing wrong with IA ledge jumps – all classes with shadowstep/flash skills could do it. Sometimes now you can’t even shadowstep in really easy to reach places – places that you could run too almost as quick. Again, I understand shadowstepping through walls shouldn’t occur, but this…….. really frustrating to relearn all the spots, which were second nature. Over-nerfed for sure.
Seriously, if you require a skill that teleported infinite range then you may be the thing that lacks skill.
The funny thing is, they left the necromancer’s version AS IS, its still infinite range teleport back.. and they are getting a huge sustain buff soon.

I agree that infinite range was kitten, and needed to be changed. That said, the mechanic is currently bugged in such a way that it hardly ever works, catching the player on the smallest of trivial obstacles (That said, Most teleporting skills have this problem, not just thief skills, and the mechanic which calculates teleports needs a serious overhaul- this is larger than just a thief issue)

Hahahahaahha Man, you must be the first one to complain about Necromancers.
1 – It isn’t infinite range, it is as far as you can run before the timer runs out, and trust me, that timer barely lasts.
2 – It doesn’t always send you back to the same place. The further you are, the less likely to return to the same place.
3 – It has 60 seconds cooldown, of course it can be traited, but still a long darn cooldown for a breakstun.

The change to it’s range is clearly part of the problem the OP has. It is implied by the words fun and skill he used and asking it to change it back to the way it used to be. He states the issue with it not working as a tack on sentence.
If I need a reading lesson then you should take a basic comprehension course. You know where you read a paragraph and have to guess its meaning, like main ideas and such.

So pretty much exactly the same as Shadowstep used to be? You do realize you pretty much said what Shadowstep used to do nearly word for word (Fyi: Shadowstep was nerfed for doing exactly what you think is alright for a Necro skill).
