What attacks does Rending Shade affect?
Any attacks from Stealth? Or only the #1 skills?

The wiki says, “Steal boons from enemies you strike with stealth attacks.”

Is a “stealth attack” every attack from stealth?
Or is it specific “stealth attacks” like Backstab?

i’d say its the latter. otherwise it’d probably say ‘when you strike enemies from stealth’

Only stealth attacks with #1, it seems more useful for hybrid builds than power builds.

Pretty sure it number 1 attacks only.

You can rip away boons real quick though

If you have staff p/p power as example. Trait BT in tricker with a sigil of absorption on a weapon. Trait Rending shade.

Steal to target with interrupt. 4 boons stolen. with hidden thief you now stealthed so do a hook strike for another interrupt. 3 boons stolen.

Stealth Attack is the #1 skill when you are in stealth, not attacks from stealth.

If you look at the tool tip for Backstab, this is what it says;

“Stealth Attack. Attack your foe from the shadows…”

I wouldn’t go by the wiki. What does the trait say in-game?

If it says “stealth attacks”, then its the #1 skill from stealth. If it says “attacks from stealth”, then it should be any attack done from stealth.
