Signet of Malice on d/p build
A warrior is supposed to feel sturdy.
Thats the major problem with Healing Signet right now. Nothing currently compares to it. The amount of healing over time it provides is currently over shadowing all other heals in the game if you consider CDs and the amount healed during that time frame.
Both HiS and Withdraw are great skills for the thief in sPvP, because they provide both condition removal and utility (Stealth or a low cd Evade, istant cast).
Honestly I don’t see Signet of Malice to be any good in anything other than a 4Signet Kill-or-Die spec.
Also, with D/P you will not be autoattacking much in sPvP because you would die quickly to AoEs, so taking it while hoping for a better sustain is not viable.
That said, Signet of Malice works really well in WvW group fights when you are using your Shortbow and Daggerstorm.
Signet of malice can be used in sPvP with specific builds. It works well with dagger storm, shortbow and P/P support build (where support means just killing everyone from distance with berserker amulet). If you use runes of scholar, you can keep yourself above 90% hp all the time for bonus 10% damage – retailation won’t stop you.
But that’s all. Even if S/P can dish out a lot of hits, SoM is weak for this weapon set in sPvP. Some people also use SoM with condi P/D + projectile bounce, but that’s for WvW.
I have been using withdraw with D/P for the reasons hihey said (low cd instant + evade). However, in doing so I feel the need to also take lyssa runes for the extra condi clear which reduces dmg by a bit…
That health is per target hit. It also includes things like choking gas and caltrops (both utility and trait). Its significantly lower because of that but requires an aggressive play style while the warrior one is just… passive.
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
mfw i read the word fair in a sentence w/ warrior

Agree with that – even on a signet burn build I still use HiS more than signet… repositioning with HiS is more valuable than being exsposed.
When using withdraw, the condition clearing food is awesome.
