So, new patch, old Withdraw?
Ya I noticed that too.
Sad really
Please note that currently, with 0 healing power, Withdraw actually heals us 6% more than the tooltip value that wasn’t updated.
It’s not the 10% more mentioned but it is more than before the patch for sure.
Thief + Fix isn’t a valid equation :O

Nope, that 6% that you’re getting comes from the WvW bonus medic. If you go in the pvp lobby, you’ll still see the old value.
i actually expected more from the patch. admittedly nerfs here and there. i expected them to touch burning and particularly the mesmer class and maybe a glint of a change in something in our acro line but…cheers to what is in my opinion the most inept mmo company holding an a+ title.
No healing increase and they increased the CD, so useful
The problem is, the dev responsible for Thief is also responsible for 1 or 2 other professions as well, and doesn’t really care much about the Thief. He even admitted on a Twitch presentation that he hadn’t touched the Thief or it’s skills for 2 weeks and couldn’t remember much about the new changes.
Whereas the dev that was overlooking the Engineer was hands on and had working knowledge of Engys and genuinely seemed to have a love for the class.
Take that as you will, but don’t have any real expectations for the Thief. You’ll only be disappointed. When the one responsible doesn’t have any love or interest in the class, you will see the results in the finished product.
Edit: The only way you can really make a difference is vote with your wallet. If you buy gems, stop for a month. Yeah, it really won’t make much of a difference, but if you’re unhappy, why give them more money? That’s why I will never spend one dollar of real money in the gem store.

same here, not a cent spent on gem store since thieves were always a beating horse
also, i refuse to buy expansion untill at least bugs are fixed and things we were promised (sup withdraw) are actually implemented; surely my 2 accnts won’t make much difference but at least it makes me feel better~

I see, sneaky hidden bonus XD
Withdraw: This ability is now a trick. Increased the recharge of this ability from 15 to 18. Healing (both base and healing power) coefficients have been increased by 10%.
Coefficients is key here.
This basically means that healing power is 10% more effective with withdraw.
Not sure what “base coefficient” actually is, but I think this is for scaling, thus making it heal 10% more on downscaled characters, taking 80 as base and the base coefficient to calculate downscaled healing.
So no, the “base healing” did not change, but people tend to read it wrong
Hope this clears it up a bit.

The live stream implied otherwise.

More importantly since the removal of stats from traits, what thief out there is using healing power? No skill or trait on thief scales well with healing power :/
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
Base coefficient is the base amount withdraw heals for, so yes the base heal was supposed to increase by 10%.
Maybe they’re having internal debate on whether to just update the tooltip or the modifier. And you know, of course, balance testing it.

Likewise.
Only two things can get me to buy the expansion at this point:
1. Sparkling good elite spec – doubtful, more than likely we will get shafted with a melee staff and become squishy pole dancers.
2. Their challenging content being either the Underworld, Fissure of Woe, or Domain of Anguish. FoW is likely due to something (a map) that was datamined about a week ago. Though, I want to be able to solo it like I did back in GW1 (well, I did it with henchies/heroes… but yeah solo) and it has to be rewarding. Both of those they will more than likely fail, especially on the rewarding part. So far there isn’t anything worth solo’ing… :\

Really Anet? We should have had the +10% healing on Withdraw since the June patch, and yet you don’t fix this bug even on this patch?
It’s embarassing, really.
may i ask why it should get a 10% increase in the first place? have i missed something?

Indeed. Because it is a term.
Srsly. What is the deal with this? This isn’t a hard fix that requires tons of testing and coding. It’s really simple. Take the base healing amount and multiply by 1.1 and put that number in where the old number was. And these guys get paid six figures to not be able to know how to do that. It takes less than five minutes.
They can either fix it so it heals for the amount promised, or revert the CD so after Trickster, the CD is 12 seconds like it was.
