But yea, I think Steal needs some changes. It’s pretty boring to use and has a HUGE cooldown. I wish they would reduce all effects of stolen weapons by 50% and reduce the cooldown by 50% (and ofc remove mug. Mug is broken anyway).

Daecollo, no offense but you seem to want to change almost everything about the Thief, you’ve posted almost 5 threads that I’ve seen proposing off-the-wall changes that display almost a complete lack of interest in the Thief “as-is”.
Maybe this isn’t the class for you?

Anet was willing to nerf C&D instead of Mug, apparently their “design philosophy” doesn’t line up with yours. Hell, I don’t agree. Considering it is a long cooldown regardless of the Trickery reduction, I think the burst is worth the wait, tbh.

theres kinda no benefit to having both condition dmg and precision on the same tree as there are no “on crit” bleeds,burns or poisons. i would welcome some reworks on the thief but i dont think itll be this simple :P
