Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

By extension, we kinda did get the visual noise nerf. Leaping on an Ethereal will result in a less noisy Chaos Armor.

I felt the visual nerf so much. Running with an aura share ele, I felt so visually under powered. Going to have to buy electo dyes and wacky armour skins now.

Thrill of the Crime was good in parties for 5 person swiftness and fury, even when out of combat (such as running from one place to another). Now that you need a target it can no longer be used on cooldown with no target to gain the associated boons. It’s NOT a neutral change, it’s absolute lose.

Maybe next year we can hope for widthdraw changes and few more balances similar to the new Steal.

For starters I would like to see:

  • Blinding powder applying Self-blind.
  • Shadow Refuge: Radius reduced to 120 (this promotes more counter to stealth for all classes)
  • Basilik Venom: Increased CD to 60s.

  • All venoms now apply only one charge when used, and share a cooldown. We felt venoms were overly complicated to use and our intent was always that the thief used them to compliment alpha strikes or as party support with venmous aura, so we have normalized them to better fit our vision and reinforce the purity of venoms.
  • Removed skill recharge from Improvisation. We felt that the random nature of improvisation didn’t promote skillful play. It is our opinion that gaining extra stolen items is a more skillful feature, and so we have in stead changed this trait to grant three stolen items and increase the cooldown of steal by 10%.

i saved myself when i used steal without a target. I was in a situation where i was low, just used shadowstep to escape from far, and had no other utilities to stop the mesmer’s gs auto attack.

… not actually a buff… at all. Even weakened you can be built as tanky as a thief can get and you’re a one shot, for any class though especially dragonhunter.
