single, single handed weapon idea
i thought this be a cool idea as a specialist. to unlock extra spots
2 more utility slots?
Or 2 more unique weapon skills? :-)
I finally got my Plasma sword skin, and I’m ready to go classic Jedi style… single saber! But 2 more sword skills would be useful, haha!
that would be an interesting twist for thief gameplay but likely unuseful unless single-handed dual wield skills (3) will recieve significant reworks or buffs
I don’t think it would need a buff, since we can weapon switch. So we have some attacks but weaker than with both hands. And 5 utility skills is probably strong. (Feels like this would take sb s place)

dont know mate, unless you are planning to cleave with dagger or staff basic attacks on haste i cant quite imagine how you could kill anything without the proper dual wield skills and 4/5 weapon skills
Well, game is as is already focused on dealing majority of damage with skill 1, so this wouldn’t hurt THAT much damage-wise, but could open some interesting utility-focused builds. If you go D/D, you rarely use skill 4, and skill 3 is only if you’re condi. Skill 5 gets decent mileage, but it’s not like it’s your main damage source. Dagger thief for example could go venom share/trapper build. You would possibly get much more interactive and dynamic gameplay than you would get with 2 daggers.
Condition/trapper/ghost/whateveristhename builds would see some major boom in this scenario.
BUT, better idea would be to make 1 handed weapons have 5 weapon skills. Now this would pretty much double the number of possible builds.
). Don’t know how balanced it would be (lesser attack from less weapon skills? or more attack from all offensive utility?)
