20/25/25 PvE Warrior
fixed the link error.
Build seems pretty solid and well rounded.
I like it!
Only “downside” depending on how you see it, is that you rely heavily on bleeds, which in it’s current state with the 25 stack maximum is well…

I’ve played warrior to 80 and done most dungeons in explo. I have played my warrior as a banner supportive one, and not had much “power”. But I havent ever needed any. Either way I got this one question; You are aiming for sword and axes? or are you going to use a ranged weapon too? (I found it best with a longbow fo aoe dmg and dual axes for aoe dmg)
I run a similar build with bow and axes (dabbling with GS now, though). Love it. I’m sure there’s a damage difference in not specing discipline, but I’d rather put those points into survivability because it does seem to make a difference in dungeons.
Once i started doing explorable dungeons, i swapped to a full blown tank-support build. Sword and board it up, went 30 toughness/vit for the defenses and shout/banner buffs, and 10 precision for bleed duration. Damage is totalkitten but the survivability went up alot.
Aggro is wonky in this game, even with crap damage bosses will often stick to me 100% of the time, which can be great since i’m built hella tanky (also bad because sometimes I need like 1-2 seconds of extra breathing room, which i might not get, and then i die)

The stacking is only usually a problem when you are fighting a “big boss” mob with many people (like an event). When events happen I usually go axe offhand (for the crit attack and the aoe whirl) and it works really well with ground effects and I realy less on bleeds. Thanks for comment!

I use sword/sword main (swithcing to axes OH in boss events) and a longbow as my second weapon. It rocks! (like you said )

So true! One thing I learned about this game is that it’s so different from typical MMOs in that EVERYONE is a tank haha. Defensive tree is really solid. Thanks for comment!
Keep the comments coming guys! I really think this can be a “staple” build for PvE /5 man dungeons.
Has anyone else actually tried it?
What is the stat priority ? I am weapon and armorsmith, should I make gear with power+prec, condition damage + prec or Power+Crit ?

Its hard to say because I haven’t run the numbers yet, but in general I’ve been following the rule: Precision>Condition Damage>Power for priority
Of the 3 choices you gave me I’d probably use either condition damage+ precision or precision + power (since I think power also contributes to condition damage right?)
Thanks for the comment!
20/25/25 is what I planned on doing for a while. I get to retain a lot of power as if I rolled pure pwr/prec as a pure dpser due to the lv25 defence trait. I roll s/s and rifle so I got a lot of bleeding and base damage to give, so the precision helps on that. The toughness is there so I stand a chance in dungeons plus give a bit more survivablity in the open world as well, after reading all the horror stories in the dungeons section, I figured that even though pure dps is fine if all you do is DE, you won’t stand a chance if you want to do dungeons, and I want to do dungeons.
As for equipment, I think that I could possibly have a dungeon set and an open world set, and if I ever want to deal with PvP, a set for that too.
Otherwise I could have each piece of armor give one stat or the other.
I’m Sword/Sword Condition/Bleed build right now, I do 100 bleed per tick.
I’m using 0/20/30/20/0. I find it pointless to go 0/20/25/25/0 gaining that “Might on revive” or extra 500 hp won’t do you anything. Getting lv 30 Defense allows you to get defy pain which gives you 1 second of endure pain which is basically your anti burst survaiblity skill.
