9% Crit Damage vs. 130 Condition Damage

The auto attack and Arcing Arrow will benefit much more Berserker stats. As you’ve said, you are not traited or geared for CD, why go for it? I personally tried it, and from experience, I can say that the Crits from Arcing Arrow will be much more devastating than the Burning from Fan of Fire and Combusting Shot.

According to this: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition_Damage
Burning = 5% of Condition Damage
That means you’re improving your condition damage by 7 per tick.
I’d go for crit dmg.

Berserker’s it is!

Forget about condition damage if you’re not geared for it
With 130 CD you’ll only gain +32 dmg per tick on your burning skills ….
Go full condition damage or not at all, the “in between” option is not worth it IMO

Whoops, made an error.
Burning = 25% of Condition Damage
Mumu is correct, this equals 32 dmg per tick.

Yeah Berserker seems to be the only viable set for DPS weapons.

I prefer Knight’s to Berserker’s usually, but I reckon that for a secondary ranged weapon you don’t really need the Toughness like you do on a primary melee weapon.

While Longbow has burning your build lacks condition duration.
Crit is to crit damage as condition duration is to condition damage.
You need both sides to maximize effect and your currently lacking the condition duration to consider condition damage.
Its kind of the problem with ranged warriors. Rifle has bleeds and direct damage, bow has burns and direct damage, you kind of get half the benefit of each when using them.
