Adrenaline should come back... slightly

Both seem reasonable to me. What we currently have is stupid and I’m surprised that whoever partook in testing this didn’t feel that there was something wrong.

That’s assuming it was tested at all. The fact that Thrill of the Kill went unchanged when Adrenaline was changed to its current state leads me to believe that there was either no testing at all, or it was kitten poor at best.
It just makes sense too. In sports, players get pumped (some adrenaline) from an inspiring speech. And in between plays, lets say in football, players keep their adrenaline and want to snap the neck of the quarterback or score an unbelievable touchdown. Plus for all you athletes out there, when you hurt yourself, you do not always feel it. Its because of adrenaline. That is until it wears off at home.

I have zero confidence that this glaring issue will be adressed soon. In fact, it is unbelievable that they didn’t fix this in this week’s patch.

Your best option atm is to focus on fast adren gain.
Cleansing ire and inspiring shouts are my favorites.
So much for all the counter arguments “give it a try, try it for two weeks, it’s just a test, they will change it back if players complain”!
They clearly said that they wanted to put the warrior more back in line with the others.
So don’t expect they going to change something back, what they recently nerfed. Maybe in 6 months.

I would honestly be fine with the way adrenaline is if the traits that were based around maintaining high levels of adrenaline were changed to match. If Anet doesn’t want us bringing our burst skills from fight to fight these traits are the only thing receiving an undue hit.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.
Adrenaline decay should not have been butchered as it was. I see some logic in adren being used on a miss, but not in tandem with adren disappearing into the ether in seconds without use.
Adren should come back more than slightly, IMO.
