I like your build alot and will test it now in PvP.
I think if you use #5 to run away in the right moment it is better movement now then “Ride the lightning” from Ele which prevented me almost every time to get killed.
I just dislike how endure pain functions…

Endure being on a 60 sec CD now is vital for avoiding coordinated spikes on you, especially by Eles or Thieves. Before Zerker Stance buff the fact that it didn’t stop conditions did suck but now that we have that buff using Endure with the Evade from Whirlwind attact, counterblow, Shield Stance, and all our other stances lets us even do some crazy stuff like rushing mid at the start solo and be able to potentially hold off 2 others while you wait for backup. Rush is a decent way to peel although being crippled/slowed still make it less effective than stealth.

As far as I see there is currently 2 viable builds in pvp. This build, “the stunlocker” and then the (sword/shield -)longbow hybrid (also my favourite). Both work with similar traits (Personally prefer 30 in Defense, I like the traits there more).
I also LOVE the new berserker stance, gotta love ruining a necros day!

You could also go more defensive with Soldiers ammy with Zerker stone, although personally I think that would be a bit overkill and would hinder your damage more than what’s necessary.

Even building for full Condi removal is still not quite enough to kill a competent Necro, especially if he has full Life Force.
Rushing mid doesn’t necessarily makes sense as a Warrior. A Guardian/Engie still bunker much, much better. Two people isn’t enough to bring them down in a timely manner.
Could s.o. explain what the Trait “Merciless Hammer” means exactly by stating: if a foe is disabled… ??
Means stunned, crippled, chilled??

I would agree with you in regards to Beserker Stance, it really makes us on par. I’m gonna get some footage up before Wed. (going on vacation), but I’ve been doing very well vs people in 1v1 dueling arena and in tpvp with this build.
you should watch defektive’s last few stream vids with stance build.
I’m messing with a build in tpvp using the same Mace/Shield and Sword/Mace setup for CC but some differences.
Most comps I’m against I end up running Mending, Berserker Stance, Sig of Stamina, Balanced Stance. Endure pain is traited so I still have that without it on my bar and instead can have a condi immune and a full condi cleanse.
Puts out decent damage, the CC is ridiculous and I can get up in the Necro’s face no problem.

1 It doesn’t affect conditions already on you, its pretty much worthless unless you know your going to be struck by a bunch of conditions.
2 it doesn’t help your team, its nothing compared to what a guardian can do, taking away all his allies conditions and giving them to himself or completely converting all of them into boons.
3 The CD is very long, so long I don’t see why you bother with it, it doesn’t remove conditions it simply reduces the CD, and its only really good for running away.
4 I would much rather take a guardian or elementalist and help my team.

And if I should feel I need it, I will swap runes for Lyssa and have two full condi cleanses I can use before popping it.

Interesting.
Dodge roll for ele removes only 1 condi and takes 30 trait points for the trait.
I believe the Guardian skill that cleanses all condis pulls them to himself though, not the same as a self full cleanse. Though they do have one of those as a separate utility.
Neither of these is even close to being immune to conditions for 8 seconds. Only the Engi under 25% HP 30 pt trait does that iirc.
Comparing professions directly like that never works.
Also as pointed out, neither of those professions can stun lock a Necro to death. I can.

I was not gonna give in, but I finally did.
Went back to my guardian this week for a bit for spvp, its alot more fun to tweak your build to suit your playstyle vs desperate gimick builds and sad attempts to barely stay alive.
Too many points need to fix adrenaline generation and movement or movement impairments. Might as well make warrior perma rooted and have to spec to be able to walk. Too many abilities not usable without specing to make them marginally ok.
But, ya its good they are being careful not too make warrior op. I mean man, ya never know, probably time to remove eviscerate and 100b and get it over with.

The stun warrior is built to help the team by stunning people and setting them up for burst. If my team know what they are doing, my presence in a fight can change the outcome significantly. Stuns are powerful, don’t get it twisted.
