Rush: Sometimes this skill does not land on the target when the target is in range. Multiple reasons why this happens.
A. Pathfinding
B. Sudden changes of the enemy’s position while in range while in motion.
C. Skill misses the target when the skill properly worked in closing the distance and the warrior was in melee range when the skill activated at the end of the skill.
D This skill experiences casting delays. Sometimes a warrior has to spam this skill before it will go off.

Bulls Charge: sometimes this skill does not land on the target when the target is in range. Additionally sometimes this skill does not knock down the target when the skill hits the target.
A. Pathfinding
B. Sudden changes of the enemy’s position while in range while in motion.
C. Bullcharge runs through the enemy hitbox instead of stopping at the enemy.
D. The skill is successful at landing on the enemy and the enemy is knocked down outside of melee range. Warrior now has to run to the target before using melee skills.
E. The skill closes the gap and hits the enemy but no damage occurs and the enemy is not knocked down.

Whirlwind This skill experiences abnormal casting delays. Not found on other skills where the warrior has to spam the skill multiple times before it will go off.

Blade Trail: Sometimes this skill does not work when the target is on the outer edges of the frontal cone or when flanking a target. Meaning the warrior is facing forward and can see the enemy with the camera so the enemy is not behind the character yet the skill will not work and will go on cool down.

Skills also effected by the same Field of View bugs as Blade trail. Throw Axe, Throw Bolas, and Impale.

Earth Shaker: Sometimes this skill does not land on a target in range if the terrain is uneven.
A. This skill experiences casting delays. Sometimes a warrior has to spam this skill before it will go off.

Flurry: This skill does not hit the target 8 times.

Shield Stance: This skill does not block all physical attacks if a physical attack has a control skill attached to it. Shield stance often doesn’t block attacks it should I can’t elaborate more on this at this time.

Counter Blow: This skill does not continuously blocked ranged attacks when the target is at range similar to Riposte.

Whirling AXE: This skill does not hit 15 Times. It hits 5 times per target. For a maximum of 25 hits if 5 targets are hit.
A. whether this is simply a display bug or not as been previously said by ANET its still a bug and thus traits that effect on hit and sigils that effect on hit do not proc correctly as they only will proc for the damage displayed. Yet all of the negative side effects of hitting a target with retaliation are applied.

Hammer Shock: This skills sometimes does not land on a target if the target is in range but the terrain is uneven.

Deep Strike: This trait does not properly display critical chance.

Blade Master: This trait does not properly display critical chance and does not affect the off hand weapon when a sword is equipped in the main hand.

Heightened Focus: this trait does not properly update the critical chance status.

Sweet Revenge: Sometimes this trait does not grant 100% chance to rally even when credit for a kill is given. Or when the Warrior did damage to a target and no credit was given.

Fast Hands When you’ve got the “fast hands” trait, your weapon swap goes on cool down when you enter or exit water combat. It also happens when dropping banners and other pick up weapons.
If anybody has knows of other traits or skills that are bugged feel free to post them and the list will be updated.

Utility signets Passives go on cool down If you swap in a Utility Signet (not healing/rage) while a banner (and sometimes frenzy) is on cooldown, the signet will be set as used and have the same remaining cooldown as the banner that’s on cooldown.

Adrinaline Bar Bugs The adrenaline bar does not lower until you are the first time in combat in an instance (for example go to any city, activate Signet of Fury and do nothing – the adrenaline bar will now not lower until you go in combat).

After the first time you get out of combat in an instance and fill your adrenaline bar it will lower immediately (normally it should keep its level for several seconds).

A. This is likely not a bug but can be abused to power up before a PVP match starts.

Lets try to keep this thread updated and on top so ANET is aware of these issues.

Cleanse Ire doesn’t work because you ARE Blind… That’s it’s weakness… (unless using F1 from LB then Blind doesn’t matter)

-When you’ve got the “fast hands” trait, your weapon swap goes on cool down when you entire or exit water combat. It also happens when dropping banners and other pick up weapons.

-A few warrior skills experience a casting delay that no other abilities experience. Hammer F1, GS Whirlwind and Rush, and Longbow 3 arcing shot. If you notice you sometimes find yourself spamming those because they just aren’t casting. See my thread here about this:

I’ll add one to this list.

Cleansing Ire only works if you hit something with your burst. So blind is supposed to be a counter. But don’t worry, there’s the OP new Brawler’s Recovery GM trait to handle that.

You should remove cleansin ire,that is not a bug.You can cleanse on Burst and since being blinded is a 100% miss chance you should not be able to cleanse yourself when being blinded since your attack misses.

i understand, cleansin ire remove only when you HIT the target, but you cant hit while you are blind…of course! but i think the nekro signet “send all conditions to the target” shouldnt work if the nekro got blind? …i think a bit unfair.

half the things on your list isnt a bug, its by design.

is not a bug. it sometimes misses because the skill is a projectile, therefore it has a travel time. if you move out of the way of the projectile, then it wont hit. this is similar to how you can sidestep a ranger’s longbow shots without dodging.

this is not a game bug.

mobile strikes is not a bug, it removes any immobilize you have on you when you use the leap skill, but unless that leap skill is an evade (whirlwind is the only one iirc) you will still be susceptible to immob during the leap.

shield stance blocks ALL attacks, unless that attack is unblockable. it’s working as intended. you don’t know what you’re talking about for this one.

counter blow is not the bugged skill, riposte is the bugged skill. both skills are only intended to block a SINGLE ATTACK.

the only REAL bugs are rush and bulls charge not hitting, as well as terrain bugs with earthshaker. and not updating stats on the character sheet, but that’s a minor bug.

Reposte isn’t bugged it was fixed to behave that way in one of the patches.

Thats not why it happens, and what happens is the skill will simply not work then it will go on cool down for the duration of the the skill as if you had used it when you didn’t use it. It happens because over zealously you cannot attack a target that is behind you but it goes to far and you apparently end up sometimes not being able to attack a target that is in front of you or to the side of you cuz the skill thinks they are behind you when they clearly are not behind you as you can see them with the camera.

Warlord, dou you want to list only skill/trait issues or really all warior issues here? I’m asking because you have forgot to add my posted adrenaline bugs.

Ranged attacks does often not hit when they should. For example you can get out of range messages even if you are very close to your target. The same happens for obstructed messages if your target is clearly in line of sight. There is definitely a bug, but this is maybe just a validation issue or related to the current movement validation issue. But basically every ranged attack is affected by this bug so I think it is not needed to list every related skill then (instead it could be posted as a generic bug).

Says who, Both skills function mechanically the same way. They are also effected by traits the same way. And before June 25th 2013 Resposte functioned exactly the same way counterblow works now see patch notes. Thats just the latest iteration of the deep strike bug. The traits been plagued with bugs for ages and I mentioned it. I rather them just fix it already so it displays the stats properly I could care less about 170 power its not giving a huge advantage since it doesnt stack with signet of str. And right now you are not getting any precision for the trait.

I’ve noticed a couple bugs. Warrs are hitting harder than thieves but hardly take any damage.

Also they can run away from a fight faster than anyone else while wearing heavy armour.

Needs a fix.

I speak for all warriors in saying we will be will to accept damage nerfs only if ANET fixes all of these bugs and stops nerfing our sustain. We will also be willing to accept sustain nerfs only if ANET fixes all of these bugs and stops nerfing our damage.

There is room to tone down some of warrior damage, and sustain. The issue is we have a couple traits that every build uses, needs to work due to our profession mechanics.

ANET saw that a couple of our builds were over the top then nerfed or moved the traits and that effected us across the board. It pigeon holded us into the defense line and then which is why every warrior is tanky and then forced us into generic builds that almost everyone uses for every weapon set in PVP regardless if its condition or physical or control or damage we pick up the majority of the same traits. Because now anything that would resemble diversity is out of reach while still maintaining something that is viable by picking up the traits we need to be viable.

So its a difficult thing to balance at this point. You need to understand that outside of healing sig, dogged march, adrinal healing and cleasing ire (these 4 traits) warrior doesnt have anything that resembles a viable build. The rest of the traits in defense are just too good. Power based on toughness and then the rest of the grandmaster tree.

warriors are forced into the defense trait line becasue of that and it ruins all build diversity in PVP. They are not the kings of damage, that title is held by elementalists, followed by thiefs. All and all warrior does mid range DPS with high survivability currently.

ANET gave us all these new grandmaster traits and we are left scratching our head because there is no way we can use them and still be viable, and even if we could use them they compete with much better traits to the point that there are adept and master traits even better than the new ones.

Before balancing the warrior compared to a thief we should look what stealth needs to be fixed:

- Stealth needs an aggressive diminishing returns.
- Avoiding damage from stealthed enemies should make them visible.

“Tremor” Offhand mace #5. If the target is running up to you and flanks to your side while activating the skill. Your character will slam their mace onto the ground, but no projectile will shoot out and the skill goes on full CD.
