Sup guys! A couple weeks ago I had asked you guys of your opinions on Mesmer. PLenty of people from both PvP and WvW chimed in with some awesome feedback, so I flipped the question the other way around for Mesmer. I figured ya’ll may be interested to see what we think of you.

How Mesmer Feel About Warrior

Interesting, we are predictable, we all mostly use a LB because we have to… We have stupidly long attack animations that telegraph our moves. Sigh!

Most players said they could beat warrior between 60%-90% of the time…

I wouldn’t pay attention to that. We all overhype.

I agree on some level with what Swish.2463 said. It REALLY sucks being forced to depend on boring as hell stances in order to sustain ourselves. There’s no complexity to them, press button for thing to happen instantly. If they had mechanics that required more skill to use well it would go a long way.

I like the idea of big obvious attacks that hurt when they hit because in theory that means it’s harder to land them vs good players. However, the skills we have that are designed to allow us to have some sort of setup for those skills hardly work (Bull’s Charge) or are just clunky to use (Stomp).

Slow obvious telegraph; painfully easy to dodge outside point-blank range
Buggy: Gets stuck on slopes, tiny rocks, even thin-air

In addition, you can miss on flat ground for no apparent reason, and will often shoot past your target even if you hit them, which can lead to follow up attacks missing.
