Actually, Ele’s and Engy’s Elixer S and Mist Form still take condition damage. AND, unlike Warriors, can’t use any skills during this.

Yes, but you can’t take anymore conditions.

I can’t dot you while your invulnerable or evading or blocking.

However if I see EP as a Necro, I can shove up 7 dots and not care about it, Unlike Evades/Blocks/Invulns.

Just because there’s a small counter for something that’s completely overpowered doesn’t make it not overpowered.

You’re basically making the argument: “I can beat something imbalanced by using something which is more imbalanced.” Same logic as “I should counter a warrior with another warrior.”

Whats so overpowered about Endure Pain? Its one of the worst saves in the game.

If something “imbalanced” can be countered by another “imbalanced” something, I would define that as balance.

I doubt a thief could take down a warrior who isn’t afk or just plain horrible. On any other class, thief is a threat. When i’m playing as my warrior, I actually feel bad for them because of how easy it is. 1 pindown is usually enough to drop those glass cannon ones who put everything into attack and forsake all defense. The ones who stealth constantly and fart condition removal still aren’t a problem. I can stack on the conditions faster than they can cure them, and that’s saying a lot since if traited for it thief has the best condition removal in the game. Well after warrior anyway, but warrior can be totally immune to conditions.

its not about balancing a class to be easy/hard but rather allowing each class to have a skill level…

raising the skill floor of a class to make it brain death easy and effective ins’t ideal balance, specially on a PvP system with zero rewards where personal skill level is the only thing to be proud about…

making classes require 20 mins to play on the same level of someone who’s played for a year, is just damaging the game, and its basically what you’re askign for eles. for the class to be dumbed down to a point where using 2 attunaments will be extremily effective while requiring very little skill

I can do this all day, the way your wanting it. I think you just want to turn it into a useless skill.

If your giving it weaknesses, then give it the strengths the other similar skills enjoy, or don’t touch it.

My mesmer typically has little trouble against warriors. We have sufficient stun-breakers/teleports to effectively kite them. When I lose, I am confident it was because I was outplayed.

I think a lot of wars aren’t traited and equipped correctly still. Typically they’re of the berserker/PVT hammer/sword+warhorn variety. They should be running condi bunker with longbow/X or cavalier gear with mace+shield/greatsword if they’re roaming.

When they start to gear, trait, and equip correctly we should hear even more QQ than now. There is still untapped potential. The general public is too slow to adapt meta builds.

Elementalist Mist Form. They don’t get a block. The only evades are Air 5 with Dagger and Fire 4 Staff. Their Mist form doesn’t block capture points and they still take condition damage in it.

Warriors get a variety of blocks and dazes and stuns. I believe GS 3 is an evade. They have berserker to ignore conditions and Endure pain to ignore non conditions.

You cant cap/hold points in stealth. Endure Pain comes from limited sources with fair cooldown each. Stealth with proper build can be spammed. A good stealth tanky thief could hold points “forever”. Warrior with Endure Pain cant. Wait it out and then deal with him.

I have no problem with warriors being strong but the ability to just spam cc is ruining a lot of solo q matches which frequently have 2-3 warriors per side. I don’t want to here about stun breaks or dodging I run 2 stun breaks and am a guardian with vigorous precision and energy sigils. It is not good game play all these people running around chain stunning. In team queue it wouldn’t work as well but with five strangers its so op if you have a couple warriors that know what they are doing with hammer.

Let me get this straight,

I mentioned evades being low time wise and that you cannot do anything during them. You bring up a block, I assume to associated it with an evade, which I pointed out. Please, any NA player take my place and duel him. You don’t need to be skilled as a Warrior, neither you need to know the profession or the traits. You just need to spam stuns on cooldown.

Because as far as I know, the stun cooldowns are so low that you can afford to spam them mindlessly. I even use Earthshaker on enemy I’m sure they have stability on, because I just don’t care. 8s later I’ll have ES back on.

Power necromancer is viable. It just requires a specific team comp.

It’s possible to get high-rated with it in solo queue, too. I’ve remained in the top 100 when playing around with both axe and main-hand dagger.
