Move Merciless Hammer to Strength
I think they should take a different approach if they wanna nerf the Hambow trolling. Merciless Hammer moved to Strength traitline would nerf WvW Raid builds harder than it would nerf the Hambow.
It could be good with confusion on interrupt trait. The problem is the lack of viable interrupts.

No ty to this change, again. Merciless Hammer is perfect where it is. Makes the warrior have to choose between several good traits among an already mandatory one.

yes, and lets replace it with the new brawler’s recovery. Also, let move banner regen to master tier, and fast hands to adept tier. Oh, and while we’re at it, lets replace the regen on banner from trait with condi cleanse every 3 seconds.

Why do you think moving merciless hammer to strength is crazy?
GS traits are also in strength and arms traits..
So GS/LB is a crazy build because GS trait issnt like hammer in defense?
If you think about it it issnt crazy… GS/lb doesnt have the sustain like Hambow if you want GS to do more damage.. so you lose some sustain.. this issnt the point for Hammer. Hammer can go full defensive by traits and still get the Damage trait.
And if you like to suggest your crazy stuff, make a different topic…
Hambow is weak in 1v1 though. Its slow and it dosent have the double endure pain like an Axebow build. I’d say they would need to buff damage modifiers and move them to grand master. So people would actually have to sacrifice Cleansing ire or burst mastery.
Slashing power should be grandmaster and give +20% damage
Berserker’s power should be moved to arms and give +30% damage.So a full glass warrior would be really bursty but would have no defense so people can’t complain about ," omg he is so tanky and I got hit for 10k" .
Because for now a 6/6/x zerk warr is not doing that much damage compared to might stacking warr with 6 defense and double endure pain. So it’s not worth it playing with a berserker’s amulet and offensive traitlines.
I’d love to killshot with something like that.

Hammer is slow and fits warriors with better defense IMHO. Better move Axe to Strength line instead.
Hammer is a power based weapon, and putting merciless hammer in strength will result in great synergy.
As a master trait, I would expect to it to be moved to the master tier of strength. If that happens, with six points in strength, you’ll be able to get Merciless hammer + Berserker’s Power. Add sigils of impact and force, and you could reach +50% damage on hammer skills provided you have full adrenaline and your enemy is knocked down. Plus, you could still add runes of the scholar for + 10% more damage.
Can you imagine +60% damage earthshaker? or 3k auto attacks with zerk gear?

I mean yeah this would give Hammer allot of damage if you trait for it.. but it cost you sustain ofc.. so i dont really see any problems.
Anyway most people will disagree ofc because 0/0/6/0/6 (and 2 where you want) is just so easy and it gives all you need for warr..
only, gs is a clumsy weapon. Rush rarely hits. Whirlwind can be tricky to aim. 100b has a long channel…blah, blah, blah. Hammer isn’t, and it hits harder. Plus, strength’s secondary stat is condition duration. Hammer 2 would have a 10s weakness on a 9 cd, and Hammer 3 would have a 9s cripple on a 9s cd. So for 6 points, a warrior could perma cripple and weaken, while hitting super hard. That’s not counting runes/sigils/food.
With this suggestion, you’re replacing one evil with an even monstrous one.
Also, merciless hammer only increases damage when the foe is disabled. So stun breakers are an obvious counter.

No it wont because they now miss 4 traits into defensive/discipline traitline..
So they also lose burstmastery and +10% toughness is converted to strength..
So nope i disagree with that, yes they will be slighty stronger if they spend 4 into strength.
But it will cost them also
Berserker’s power gives you a flat 15% damage bonus on all skills including burst provided you have the adrenaline, which is 8% greater than burst mastery. Also, with only 6 points in strength, you have 8 point remaining. You could easily swing armored attack and with three points to spare. Also, with the potential to perma weaken, you could grab cull the weak for +5% more damage.
