I am working on a full rework/change for the warrior, I’ll give some of my thought, still I need help from you guys, give me your ideas !
My point :
- to give useless skills a chance to be used
- upgrade core weapons
- nerf some strong berserker primal burst
- make the warrior feels more “crushing”
- nerf passive defense, focus on active defense
- PS damage around 20k for both Condi and Power so you choose the build for a specific encounter and not because it’s stronger
- DPS spec ! (around 30k) for Condi and Power (2 axes!)
- Physical skills!
- Banners!
- Stances!
- Berserker!
(made some changes for these I will update it in the next days)
I continue this time with traits, thought about trying to put it as that_shaman did for building spec but I really don’t know how I can do it so I will try to make it clear
For strenght, I wanted to give dual axe some love and some PvP traits hammer related.
Mace traits are moved to ARMS
With a little buff from Axe damage, and this change to t3->t2 dual axe, + dual wielding in strenght, I just wanted to see my dual axe somewhere else than solo open world.
TIER 1
T1 : Reckless dodge
Damage foes at the end of a dodge roll
Target 5
Radius 180
I.1 : Empower allies
Increase power for nearby allies
Empower allies : +150 power for 9sec
Interval : 3sec
Radius : 600
Combat only
So you can bring it when playing Power-phalanx, or if you are playing a power DPS spec, Condi ps shouldn’t have the ability to get +150 power buff for the team
I.2 : Peak performance
Physicall skills deal more dmage based on how much adrenaline you have. Physical skills recharge faster.
Lvl 1 : 10% to 15%
Lvl 2 : 20% to 30%
Lvl 3 : 30% to 45%
Recharge reduced : 20%
I.3 : Death from above
Damage and launch foes when you take falling damage. Take less damage from falling.
Launch : 450
Radius : 240
Combo finisher : blast
Unblockable
Damage reduce : 50%
TIER 2
T2 : Building momentum
Bursting skills restore endurance on hit
Endurance gained : 15
II.1 : Forceful greatsword
Gain might on a critical hit with a greatsword or spear. Greatsword and spear skills deal more damage and recharge faster.
Damage increase : 10%
x1 Might
recharge reduced : 20%
II.2 : Axe mastery
Critical axe hits gain extra adrenaline. Gain ferocity for each axe you are wielding. Reduce recharge on axe skills.
Ferocity : +150 to +170
Adrenaline : 2
Recharge reduced : 20%
II.3 : Destruction of the empowered
Deal bonus damage per boon on tour target, gain additional adrenaline
Damage increase : 3%
Extra adrenaline per hit : 2
TIER 3
T3 : Stick and move
Get a damage bonus when endurance is not full
Damage increase : 10%
III.1 : Berserker’s power
Gain a damage boost when you use a burst skill. Boost power increases based on how much adrenaline you have buildt
Boost power : 7% damage increase (works like AH and dosn’t nerf it with my change to primal burst aka primal burst works like stage 2 adrenaline)
Adrenaline stage 1 : x1
Adrenaline stage 2 : x2
Adrenaline stage 3 : x3
III.2 : Dual wielding
Damage is increased when wielding a sword, axe, or mace in your off hand, bonus if full adrenaline
Damage increase : 15%
Bonus : 5%
