Magnificent Mike’s “Get in and Get out” Zerg-hopping build xD
Basically I made this build for WvW so that I could go into another zerg, do my damage, drop CCs on the crowd to cut stragglers off from the main force, and also get out of the zerg and back to mine BEFORE getting downed. I find myself leading the push most of the time, mostly because I know that I can get to their backline and do big damage while controlling their attempted escape with my CC which also means I"m usually the farthest one into their group, so I also need to be able to get myself back to my group so I can get healed, recharge some of my cds and then get right back in there.
30 points in defense is pretty self explanatory, Dogged march & Last Stand for when they try to lock me down and defy pain for the extra endure pain.
20 points in tactics, I did this primarily for the shrug it off trait(extra cleanse?! Hell yeah!) but I also feel like taking leg specialist makes the hammer just an absolutely deadly weapon against those pesky zerglings and having an easy immobilize with GS to lock them down for 100b is pretty nice from time to time (not great but still worth it imo).
20 points in Disc because the short weapon swaps for extra adrenaline make combat much smoother and signet mastery is nice for a 3 signet warrior like me. I use mobile strikes because its just another set of abilities that makes it near impossible to lock me down when I’m runnin around your zerg blowin things up.
As far as runes and sigils go, I’ve basically switched to sigil of energy on almost all of my characters at this point because its just that good imo, my mindset being I wont have to cleanse/heal it if I can just dodge it. For this build I’m thinking of using either the runes of Mercy for lightning quick pickups, or if I had the gold I would probably get melandru runes for the shorter conditions on me. I use primarily berserkers gear with soldiers chest/legs(these armor slots provide more stats than others) and you can’t see it but right now I’m running with 0 exotics because you just don’t need those extra stats folks, Talent will always beat out the gold in your pocket(of which I have none lol) and I do just fine with the gear I have btw.
I personally prefer to use Greatsword & Hammer with this build but I’m often switching GS out for whichever weaponset will benefit me most at the time, like using S/WH for moving around the map or Longbow for tower defense/assault. Honestly you can use any weaponset you want with this build as none of the traits really apply to one specific weaponset. Even leg specialist would work with almost every weapon you may wanna use. I like using healing surge because its simply the best heal available as it gives you full adrenaline and the highest possible single heal for warriors. I always keep endure pain, Signet of stamina(Even moar dodges) and Signet of Rage on my bar because their just great utilities. I also use Signet of Dolyak for the stability and passive toughness but I tend to switch it out for signet of fury when I whip out my longbow so I can drop my firefield more often when hitting towers/groups of assaulters.
For Food buffs and the like, the only food buff I ever use myself is the omnomberry bars for MF and extra gold, but if you have OCD and actually care about maximizing you might try lemongrass for food and the master maintenance oil will work well if you want even more crit chance.
P.S. Only real men wear Pink armor.
The juggernaut
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQRBHddG2InTtbqjMETcAApArrUPoru4SKEjNA-TsAA1CtIyRljLHTOycs5M4Yxx+DA
this warrior build is all about being a jerk on the field. Your axe crits for around 4-5k dmg. Cripple, immobilization, or chill cannot stop you because you can roar. When the opponent is losing, kick them to the floor and stomp them.
You are the juggernaunt and they cannot stop you. Muahahhaha
So I’ve finally made a build that I feel works very well in WvW and evens things out for me versus other classes when roaming. I’m not the greatest WvW player, but I’ve been using this build to take on thieves and DD eles at the same time, and as a bonus, it CRUSHES in a zerg situation.
It’s also an incredible front line vanguard build, and I’ve been using it to break enemy lines and turn the tide of battle. It’s also great at holding choke points.
And best of all, it’s Hammer, so it justifies my Juggernaut.
Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: gear.
I’m sure people may be able to improve on its damage with different gear configurations.
The basic idea is P/v/t EVERYTHING.
Trinkets, armour and weapons. ALL P/v/t.
The hammer being Juggernaut means it’s P/v/t by default. The only change I’ve made there is to add a Superior Sigil of Force instead of the Superior Sigil of Sanctuary it came with.
The only exception at the moment is my secondary weapon, the Longbow. That’s currently Knight’s stats (T/p/p), with a Superior Sigil of Perception. It’s a holdover from when my main armour set was all Knights. Still, it works quite nicely, and the added Precision helps crit rate. I’m umming and aahing over whether to get a P/v/t bow.
Runes are Soldier to compliment the amount of shouting you’ll be doing.
Here’s the fun stuff though, the traits:
Strength, 0
Arms, 15: Unsuspecting Foe
Defense, 25: Embrace the Pain, Merciless Hammer
Tactics, 0
Discipline, 30: Inspiring Shouts, Sweet Revenge, Burst Mastery
15 in Arms gives a very nice crit % on a build with no access to crit otherwise; this build relies on Earthshaker, so that’s a guaranteed +60% from the traits here to start with.
25 in Defense is in order to give a nice +100 boost in power thanks to Toughness being 2008.
30 in Discipline gives excellent additional utility through weapon swapping which you’ll be doing a LOT of. It also enables Inspiring Shouts which is pretty critical to the build.
Utilities are Healing Surge, “For Great Justice!”, “Shake It Off!”, “On My Mark!” and Signet of Rage.
Basically, it’s a high adrenaline build relying on constant weapon swapping in order to use burst after burst.
Lead with the Longbow until you have enough Adrenaline for Combustive Shot, then use it and quickly switch to hammer; you’ll already have at least one bar of adrenaline, but using your shouts, damage from the enemy and maybe an auto-attack or three, you should have 3 bars in no time, at which point you Earthshaker into the Combustive Shot in order to generate a nasty, almost guaranteed AoE critical as well as an Area Might combo.
Rinse and repeat.
It’s a really aggressive, smashy style of play with a massive sense of achievement.
Sure, it may not be a huge amount of damage, but the shock attack factor is insane, AND IT’S NOT A GREATSWORD OR AXE BUILD.
A couple of more points: the Longbow should be used as if it’s a melee weapon with this build, and really abuse the omnidirectional aiming nature of Combustive Shot. Also, instant cast AoE is essential for this build, as you don’t want to be double-tapping F1 to get your burst on.
Oh, and it works great in PvE as well
If they rebuffed +Burst Damage on Discipline, this build would destroy everything.
Hi guys!
I made a banner based build after the patch which I really enjoy! I gives you great support to the party but it’s not the typical killer machine that warriors usually are!
I made this video to show you guys!

this is my build i have been using lately after many tryhards it all came to thata and it works realy good has a good survavibility the dmg output seems to b kinda low but its all about outplayinn ur opponent and chossin your spots to b , u can cc rely good and catch some 1 tryinn to heal and finifsh them or jum in against 2 guys tryinn to decap ur point and delay it and if u r in trouble u switch to ur gs and use its remarcable mobility.
i got runes of lyssa couse i like them alot and it bumps alittle my crit chance , and i combos with signets trait but tbh i am not so sure about them still , and i am not so sure bout warriors sprint over mobile strikes, oh and i ve been switchinn val jewell with zerkers and still haven decided wich one i prefere.
well thats it , i would like some oppinins on dat thx and sry for my english

Axe + shield / Hammer

-65% condition duration
Stun, snare duration are near 0 !
A very good mobility, endurance and a good burst
WvW build: Hammer / Mace/Shield build. Full CC blasting. Can literally stun/daze/knockdown someone from 100% health to dead. The main con is no mobility like sword or greatsword offers. However, the key is to build it based on Hoelbrak Runes, Dogged March, and Lemongrass food and pick up Berserker’s Stance (for fighting thieves) and Endure Pain for getting away or fighting GC players when stuns are down.
I push 3500 toughness with shield and mace. Pretty nice when coupled with condition duration reductions that push 90% on immobilizes.
A common rotation with cleansing ire (due to a great amount of adrenaline gain) is to start with Hammer – Backbreaker, Staggering Blow, Earthshaker, switch to mace, Pommel Bash, Shield Bash, Skullcrack. Typically dead, no matter the class unless they used stability. Even if they do most players only pick up one form of it and you can quickly adapt with a new stun within seconds do to burst mastery and cleansing ire. I don’t use cleansing ire per say for the condition removals it’s for the adrenaline gain. However, those necros and the like that eat food that increases condition duration by 40% it cancels my lemongrass so this can be helpful.
With lots of help from Doom (thank you!) this is my damage dealing human warrior female build. Using Valkyrie axe/Carrion Legionnaire mace and Valkyrie rifle, traits are 30/20/20/0/0. Using Knight armor for helm, pauldrons, gloves and boots; Berserker armor for chest and leggings (all transmuted to Vigil look).
I do moslty PvE and WvW.

Very nice build, Tyrion! I have been running it for the last couple of days in wvwvw, and it really makes my warrior fun to play!

Here’s the build Ive been running in PvP for a while
The main idea is to lock an opponent down with M/Sh and then swap to A/M for a 100% crit rate from sigil of intelligence and use eviscerate to hopefully finish them off.
Hello,
I would like to share my WvWvW build with you. I run with PuG zergs with a commander around. There is some measure of organization involved but also a lot of free-for-all too. This build lets me contribute in a meaningful way while not relying on someone to support me. This post is intended mostly for new players and those who who have not decided yet.
The build is based on my experience and personal preference rather than on carefully crunched numbers in some build calculator. It evolved and molded as I needed to address various obstacles in WvWvW. It is a jack-of-all trades so you won’t beat a focused build in it’s chosen area but you’ll be able to do everything. You have decent damage, decent control, active defenses, mobility and way to escape from sticky situations. I use a slight variation of this build for sPvP daily (rifle instead of longbow + piercing shots) and I am having fun with it (I can usually stand my ground almost against anybody – but then it’s daily sPvP, not tPvP ;-) ).
I am running with sword/shield and longbow. Traits are 0/30/20/0/20.
Here are specifics:
http://gw2buildcraft.com/calculator/warrior/?8.0|c.1g.h1c.e.1c.h1l|3.1g.h8|1n.a4.1c.a4.1c.a4.1n.a4.1c.a4.1n.a4|1n.64.1n.64.1n.64.1n.64.1n.64.8c.64|0.u32b.k25.0.k3a|1k.7|5x.64.6c.6i.6l|e`
EDIT: Adding the build on a different website: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNAseTjkOxuFPuQQxBEkCNELOPSixj8UKmj6A-j0yAYrAhuApIQEIQqEQ2TZNBKI2IKiGr6BTdSEV7PKiWtMAmTA-w
Explaining why I took the traits and weapons I did:
Arms in general:
More crit and I really wanted Arms XI. Arms II and III (VI) doesn’t hurt either. In general I took this to enhance my offensive capabilities.
Arms III:
I am running two bleed heavy weapons sword and longbow and increasing their bleeding part damage by 50% is nice. On longbow this adds around 2k damage on skill 5. Some opponents are running heavy armor low hp builds and bleeds let you get under their skin.
Arms II:
This one is really optional. It lets me keep mobile with longbow. VI is a better option if you find yourself in meele a lot.
Arms XI:
This build has regen based on adrenaline level, 5-sec weapon swap and possibly condition removal upon burst skill use and high crit. This is a natural choice.
Defense in general:
Awesome major traits, Adrenal Health. While you can use only two of the following it’s good to switch around and fine tune as needed. All of them are very circumstantial. I am running most time with II and V because I am not having trouble with conditions on me. If you like to spend more time in meelee take IX by all means!
Defense II:
Less kiting and regeneration. While I am not too bothered about being kited – I have two gap closers (sword, Bull’s charge), ranged weapon, chill on swap, two stuns (Bull’s charge and Shield stun), two paralyzes (sword, longbow) and reflect on blocking – regeneration comes in handy.
Defense V:
A huge deterrent for rangers. Saves life while on escape. This is a big deal. If you are running this with Healing Surge and Endure Pain you’ll get 4 seconds of projectile reflection and 4 seconds of damage immunity. 8 seconds to get out of trouble + dodgerolls. This skill made a huge difference for me in surviving tight spots.
Defense IX:
You have ability to get adrenaline fast and use burst skills often. If you are having trouble with conditions, take this and you’ll gain phenomenal condition removals.
(edited by Edward.7362)
Discipline in general:
Crit damage and burs recharge are nice as they are in sync with relatively high crit chance and possible Defense IX but the real reason I took this is Fast Hands – faster weapon swap. I do like to change my weapons a lot, use what is needed in that exact moment and there is no worse thing than hopping around, waiting for your weapon cd to recharge. This is another huge thing for me. I could have stayed on 15 points and invested the other 5 elsewhere, that part I consider optional. I put them here for Mobile Strikes access. Why? I use Bull’s charge both offensively and defensively. On offense it’s a nice gap closer all right but why I really like it is that when enemy immobilizes you, he’s up to no good. There is a good chance that he’s follow up with burst after an immobilize. Using Bull’s charge not only takes you to him, but also interrupts his burst and gives you the opportunity to turn tables – he wasted his cd and now you are on him doing your nasty rotation. A very nice way or using this is when you are on longbow, you charge the enemy, switch weapons (adds chill) and use burst on sword (paralyze effect). Complete turnover. Again for situations like this the ability to switch weapons in crucial. On defensive usage, it’s nice to have and ability to get away from enemy who has paralyzed you. You break the paralyze and get some distance.
Discipline III:
While you can have lot of swiftness (up to perma) from warhorn and other abilities I find that having passive movement speed increase is a very nice thing to have. Let’s face it: it gets tiresome to come to a fight that ended just before you came only because you were tagging behind the zerg because of no swiftness. Yes, you can use GS charge but then you would need to use GS, which wasn’t the best choice for WvWvW for me. While nice for 1v1, I find the fact that your main damage skill needs you to stand on the spot vulnerable to zerg AoE dps/cc fest quite deterring and suicidal. You’ll have to have some sort of speed boost. In practice this means swiftness from horn – you’ll have to take horn for it, or charge from GS – you’ll have to take GS for it or Warrior’s Spring that let’s you have the speed increase all the time and you are not running a risk of meeting a happy necro what will convert your swiftness to cripple with smug smile and destroy you from afar while you try to limp toward him. I am not saying that WH or GS are bad, they just have distinct disadvantages and you must have either of them if you want to keep up with zerg (if you are not using III). So this skill is not only about movement increase, it’s about freeing your weapon choice to something else than GS or WH.
Discipline X:
I wrote the reason why I took this in Discipline in general. EDIT: I forgot to mention that it works also with Sword 2 and Shield 4. ^^
(edited by Edward.7362)
Skills:
Heal:
I use healing signet for passive regen. With Adrenal Healing and food I use I tick around 1000 health and if I get into trouble I have active defenses. Healing surge is a nice choice too though. There is no best healing skill, they are circumstantial.
Utility1:
Bull’s charge. I have described my reasons in Discipline in general at length.
Utility2:
Circumstantial. Anything with stability, Bolas, Stomp, Signet of might, Frenzy, possibly Fear Me. Whatever your heart desires.
Utility3:
Endure Pain. For getting out of tight spots.
Elite:
Classic Battle Standard or Rampage. While I will probably be burned for this I do use Rampage on default and switch on BS only when I know it may make a tremendous difference. For example for ressing lord and players while defending SM and I know reinforcements are on their way. BS is a skill for controlled use in a coordinated group. Using it in PuG zerg mostly just delays inevitable – if enemy was able to down 1/3 of your group he can probably do it again shortly after you ress. This is my experience. With Rampage I have access to 20 seconds of stabiilty and swiftness, AoE stun, ranged stun, cripple, and fabulous extremely long-range charge. Use it with brains. Jumping with it into first zerg clash will kill you. Using it after enemy has used their stabilities is another story. Also, you can jump into enemy ranged group with this, wreak some havoc, they’ll stop shooting into your hammer buddies and concentrate on saving their own hide. use charge just before the Rampage is about to expire to get some distance, then some double dodge rolls, Shielding, Endure Pain and possibly bull’s charge and you are out of trouble while you have helped your team. The point here is not to kill enemies (which you btw can quite easily with rampage) but to mess them up. In my opinion if you do it like this Rampage might have more effect than battle standard, it’s just working proactively rather than reactively. If you are human you might consider running Avatar of Melandru – it has an AoE root and condition removal. Making every enemy rooted and cleansing conditions from your allies is not a minor thing. All in all, elite is again one of the skills that you can modify to better suit your playstyle
Weapons:
Sword:
Universal weapon. First ability is decent, 2nd is a gap closer (escaper) + cripple and 3rd packs a punch (Sword abilities have changed recently so if you haven’t played your war for some time, check them). Burst skill AoE immobilizes. Decent weapon. I was running with axe earlier. It does have more primal dps but you might have trouble with kiting and enemies with high direct-damage resistance.
Shield:
Stun and (reflective) block. Don’t forget stun is an interrupt. Also the stun is a minor gap closer too. Thieves don’t like it very much. You can for example use the bash to close on them and the 1-sec stun is just enough to make sure your sword burst skill will land which might not have been the case without the short stun. This way the thief will find himself on defense since he’ll get rooted, he’ll be in front of you (no flanking bonuses) and he’ll he subject to some bleeds. Also, it’s a leap finisher. My point is that don’t discard Shield Bash (or shield). It can really shine.
Longbow:
I use it in the initial phase of zerg clashes. Tag enemies (lootbagz!!), AoE fire field – damage + combo field Fire. This will get some damage going – not only for me but also for my teammates sice they’ll be in firefield and they’ll benefit from any skill that uses a finisher (hammers, projectiles, whirlwinds..). With this Fire field I may probably indirectly contribute with more dps than if I were an immortal berzerker (for those few initial seconds anyway). I usually follow with ability 3 – blast finisher. Blast my fire field, do some damage (it’s not uncommon to see 3k+ AoE damage from that arrow) and give might to my teammates. Next would be number 4 to AoE blind enemies and then it’s according to how the battle unfolds. I like to use number 5 on any showoff to muck up their performance – be it a thief harassing our ranged or perhaps a mobile tanky guardian/warrior without stability. Be mindful with firefield placement later in the battle so that you won’t block possible waterfields. I do feel with often firefield access AoE dmg, finisher and blind longbow is worth taking into battle. Concussive shot is on 8,5 sec cd in this spec (2418 burning damage + some direct) and since you have shorter weapon swaps, you have plenty of time to switch to meelee (With a chill effect), join the fray and swap back to longbow as soon as it’s ready. Don’t be afraid to switch to longbow to use the firefield when you see you can take the damage around. It adds might, combofield and another condition (burning) on enemy.
Food:
I use Mango pie for passive health regeneration as I feel it’s the most universal one. Heal on crit, heal on kill and 40% reduced condition duration are other options and will perform better in specific situations.
How I play with this spec:
This spec is about flexibility. You have a bit of everything so you can counter almost anything if you play it properly. This includes knowing when to fight and when to flee. Trying to solo a roamer thief that’s built for 1v1 is not going to work, but you have means of escaping him. Rampage is awesome for this – 20 seconds of stability and swiftness coupled with incredibly long charges cripple attack and two stuns should definitely get you to safety.
Please note that I will not respond to your suggestions how to tweak the build or make it better or more efficient. By all means customize it for yourself but this is the way I like playing it and I won’t change it until I feel a need for it. I am perfectly happy with it as it is.
Thank for reading! I hope it has inspired you!
EDIT: I have uploaded a daily in sPvP (as I wrote, I use rifle instead of longbow there) so that you might get an idea how it plays. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1trkK430zBY

How good would it be if they create a more stable bizerker bleed build(aka Gutz). 60%bleed on critics with sigil of earth rocks when combined with bleed duration. Make it rain blood.
Precision/Crit damage/Condition damage: armor and jewelry
Tank Juggernaut: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIEQRApe3XjcOFvJPCQ4wBE0jroK2CThfI9IMGw1A-jkyAo8ioRTMAJHKz0HAKBUOvIas11ioxq0Jiq1LYe8ioVLDA7YA-w
Currently I just have rare sentinel gear w/exotic sentinel gems, but I will upgrade to exotic when it is re-released (doubtful I will buy at current TP prices). The build has a lot of tank to it as well as power, but with many benefits as well. I primarily designed it to fit my wants in PvE situations as well as small group teamwork WvW. The main weak spot is that it lacks the critical chance of heavy dps builds, but fury supplements that somewhat with an extra 20%.
Features: 35k hp, 3k attack, 3.3k armor, 30% boon duation, 10% conditition duation, 4% critical chance. (With my rare armor, I run about 33k hp, 2.9k attack, and 3.1k armor)
-Auto condition removal (30 sec cooldown), adrenaline spent removes one condition per bar.
-Auto invulnerability for 4 seconds at 25% hp (around 8k hp)
-Supports allies with might and fury, as well as banner effects (regeneration traited), and revives allies instantly with elite banner. Also a decent reviver with built in “rune of mercy” and general tankiness.
-Regens hp very well with adrenaline, which also benefits healing surge. Choose when to use burst wisely or when you can generate adrenaline fast (such as axe 5).
-Has ranged cripple and AoE vulnerability with axes, stuns and blocks with mace/shield.
-Build can solo quite a few champions with axes alone, for others you can tank with shield at the cost of dps if you want to.
I really like my GS so I came up with this Berserker GS Build for PvE. I know it’s not as efficient as axe/mace build but I think it’s also quite good.
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQFARncOk8YUQ6OwEZgwU4HnHUhJkX9AOzpNA
here’s how it works:
-around 50% base crit + 15% from HF trait + 20% from Fury that’s 85% crit chance
-with “For Great Justice”, Arcing Slice and Signet of Rage I’d be able to maintain constant Fury
-full adrenaline bar 90% of the time thanks to Furious trait
-high DPS with Might stacking from Forceful Greatsword trait and Vulnerability stacking from Rending Strikes trait
what do you think about this build? Any suggestions are welcome
I pretty much change builds to try new things, but so far since I’ve been a level 80 warrior, I’ve been returning to the following.
knights armor/ berserker trinkets/ soldier or melandru runes/ knights or berserker weapons/ hammer warhorn sword longbow shield riffle builds.

My crit phycho .
dies very easy but, crits tad to much. At full adren has 90% crit chance. if you use 4th axe ability its 95%+adren level.
For survival i sometimes switch the axe offhand for shield, horn if i have the luxury of running away.
Hello, i designed a crit based axe/shield build matched with a longbow to control ranged and escaping mobs/people. I use it sometimes for WvW, PvE and even PvP because axe always shine !
As it’s not a secret that 0/10/30/0/30 builds are really good at providing sustain while still giving a decent amount of damage output, i went by this traits to start.
PvP : http://tinyurl.com/WarPvP087
Bloodlust Sigil can be swapped on LB, Arms II (Furious Speed) can be swapped for V or VI.
PvE: http://tinyurl.com/WarPvE087
I use F1 LB + Blast finishers from banner, stomp, 3 LB and finish with a 4 Shield if i can to stack might up, aswell as taking initial aggro from multi hit or fast hitting foes with 5 Shield.
Swapping Stomp for FGJ in case your group is good aoe cleave. Endure pain might come handy sometime.
WvW : http://tinyurl.com/WarWuv087
I would stay with no utility swap, unless you find yourself in a very bad spot and need Endure Pain.
Pin Down (LB5 ) + 3 axe chop/eviscerate is devastating !
Thought I would share my build.
Axe/Axe + Rifle
http://intothemists.com/guides/1297-permafury_build
The idea, like many others in this thread, to get better damage without going glass cannon. The nice thing about my build, is that there is less pressure to go full zerker to do good damage. You can easily replace a fair bit of the zerker gear in this build and still be doing fair damage.
However being the kind to love big numbers, I am running the most DPS-y version of my build(I feel should be done), while still having over 21,000 HP, and ~ 2,200 armor.
The way I decided to go about it was to almost completely ignore my precision stat as a Crit focused warrior, and instead go for perma-fury, sigils of intelligence, and a sigil of perception, to more than make up for my otherwise neglected stat. This allows me to swap more of my armor/trinkets/traits with precision, to those with vitality, and toughness(if I so please, could always go full glass cannon anyways and have crazy hit chance.)
Pros;
-More damage and survivability overall
-Crazy Burst
-More flexibility with gear stats
-Lots of fun skill rotation options(Many involving quick and well timed weapon swaps)
-Fun to play
-Has decent amount of swiftness, also has stability and condition removal
-No adrenaline issues
Cons;
-Even with crack shot trait, Rifle does not have the best AoE
-Long cast on Rifles burst, making harder/trickier to use
-Lack of good leap, rush and other mobility skills(However Rifles burst is the only skill that locks you in place)
-Two of your Utility Skills, For Great Justice and Signet of Rage, cannot be swapped out for other Utility skills without hurting the builds damage. These two skills are what allow perma-fury. (This is probably the biggest setback, however if another skill is absolutely needed for a particular event, boss, etc., you can swap one out. It just means you won’t have fury all the time.)
Hi everyone!
Here’s a build I created recently. The purpose of the build is being able to be efficient in dueling situations as well as in zerg vs zerg situations (by that, I mean not dying in three seconds). The rest of the build is pretty simple and self explanatory I guess. I just want your opinion about it.
Here’s the link to the build : http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIUQNAR5ejkOFvxOqQMxBAMDsq6yQJmUKmrOA-j0CBojERzEFYkHwEBAECJK5RZNBSQsNoIasabYKXCpqYRWKgIWAA-w

Constacrit PVE/Dungeon Warrior build: (2x axes + Greatsword)
First of all, welcome to my very first build, the key behind this build is the -5 seconds on weapon swap recharge, and burst recharge, both found in the Discipline traitline. This makes it possible to constantly use your adrenaline skills, at a scary time rate. Also as you’ll read on ahead in this explanation, you’ll be using critical hits on your axes to fill up your adrenaline in a just as fast, if not a scarier time rate then your burst recharge. Buffing yourself with fury and might is also one of the keys to this build. Dealing massive damage, yet still being able to survive thanks to the primary toughness statt on your gear. Remember, this is not a tank build, but pure crit damage output, so keep on dodging when needed.

Hope you all enjoy and find this build useful.

PvE bersker build with more health and survival. Greatsword – Axe/Mace
This is a berserker build but I did not like how everyone just go for full damage and no survivability. So I swapped all jewellery to power/toughness/healing power but kept berserker stats on the rest of the gear, including weapons.
I also went for boon duration to be more supportive with my shout and it also makes my might last much longer which increases my damage to balance out the loss compared to original build.
The Banner of Discipline is good for more crit but it does not help condition based build so I changed it to Banner of Strength, does more damage to everyone instead. And with 25 stacks on Sigil of Perception, I have 78% crit change.
If you feel like you need a stun breaker, you can change “For Great Justice” to “Shake it Off”.
This is my pvp build:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNAR3ejkOtu1QyOMxBAkCtqy84HgK6oQJmA-TsAA1CoI2StlbLzWytsyMKYVwGBA
Basically you want the greatsword to do the damage and the sheild and axe to continue attacking without using your auto-attack
What i do in the start of a game is pop my signet of rage. If you are going to vers a single target, use bladetrail then pop all of your utility skills in order and launch at your foe at the speed of light. Once you knocked your enemy backwards, use hundred blades. After that use the sheild slam and evicerate. by then, your opponent should at least have 50% health. from there start spamming
This is a kinda new experimental build of mine. not sure if it is really viable but her it is. mainly for PVE and fract runs but can hold its own in WvW well.

still working to get the gear for my char though. the accessories are a pain to grind
This is my own made Spvp “greatsword /rifle” build.
I very enjoy play with this build, almost never ending quickness, migh, fury boons! ( power/condi buffs to close team members) good mobility.
NEED PRACTICE FOR RIFLE SKILL 5.
If you have good idea about change something in this build, feel free to reply.
on screen shot you can see stats,i running with these stats all the time. ( you get more damage from sigil in rifle. + half match I run with 25x power stack (+ 250 power) when adrenaline full you will have +15% crit chance,so total crit chance is 80%. I not using F1 rifle skill as soon as adrenaline full, only in good moment, make sure not miss and enemy not run to far from you,so a lot of time i running with 80% crit chance.
USE AS MUCH AS POSIBLE “For Great Justice” and “Signet of Rage” keep these skills on cooldown all the time, stack boons.
P.S sorry for my bad English.
SAY NO TO BORING EASY MOD STUN/CONDI BUILDS! ITS RIFLE TIME!

I’m experimenting with my own Banner Warrior, basically Sword and Shield built as a “War Leader” with the ability to tank and not die but using the banners in strategic locations to help whoever your with.

Still new to the game so I understand if this seems like a bad build though.
This is my All Purpose Warrior: Sword/ Sword and Longbow.
http://intothemists.com/guides/2358-all_purpose_wvw_warrior
Since I enjoy PvE, Dungeons, and WvW, I wanted a build that could easily adjust on the fly to whatever situation.
Right now, I’m enjoying WvW a lot. I always run with the zerg. I’m not real good at PvP so I try to keep skills and utilities that require less management. I attack and support with lots of fire fields, pin downs, knockdowns, and cripples. I constantly swap weapons back and forth so I’m never waiting for a cooldown to attack.
My #8 utility skill is flexible for whatever the situation calls for: signet, bolos, banners, shouts, etc…
Sword mainhand for the mobility (plus I like the look of my flaming swords); combined with discipline trait “movement skills break immobilize” it’s a frequent life saver.
I use the Sword offhand because both #4 and #5 have relatively short cooldowns and great benefits… ranged torment and bleed/ adrenaline gain. Other offhand weapons may be stronger but seem more situational.
For PvE or Dungeons I just swap out the Sword/ Sword for Axe/ Mace, since my trait line is heavily focused on Power it works.
I basically came to this build with two priorities in mind: flexibility and mobility.
I have never seen any other build even close to this before. Most people don’t seem to like the Tactics trait line, but I love it… boon duration, and so much flexibility… banners, shouts, Warhorn, Longbow,… this trait line gives me options.
I play on Darkhaven server.
Feel free to comment… I love to experiment and change things around.
Happy New Year!

Burn on block is a great sour of damage functioning almost like retaliation.
Just be sure to spam terror with the sword and to interrupt at the right time. (Enjoy)
The salvation build for WvW roaming. It’s very good balanced GS/Rifle build.

Your link to the editor shows no armor.
what of these 2 builds will be the best for 1v1/roaming?
I like doing wvw, dungeons and fotm with this warrior build. It’s tanky and capable of healing yourself and your allies due to the shout heals. Shouts also cure conditions due to the Soldier runes.
With this build I have nothing to fear from enemies and I do decent damage.
Sometimes I swap out “On My Mark” for “Banner of Strength”.
Here is my Valk Hybrid…if you can call it that. Got disenchanted with the “Zerk” meta and decided to do something different.
Heres a pic of the bobble head version…
Bursty Eviscerate Build:
http://tinyurl.com/lz6kvzg
I was playing with new traits since patch was realized and this build really shine over the others.
It’s basically an Axe/Gs build for roaming but using the new trait “Burst Precision”, which gives 100% critical chance on burst skills.
I have been testing it and haven’t lost a 1v1 with it so far, with eviscerate always hitting up 7~10kish. Before patch i used get a little sad when eviscerate doesn’t crit and hit for 2k.
Also doing pretty well in outnumbered fights, picking the squishier target and bursting him down in no time, so i can take my own time to handle the tougher ones.
I have also pick Physical Training trait, which makes my bulls charge recharge faster, making it really good for more often hundred blades combo or to kite people/zerg.
I also use a Sigil of Battle in my second greatsword slot, couldn’t put it yet on calc.
This is my GS warrior sPvP build.I use the dual swords as secondary due to the flurry burst and the insane buff impale has now.

This is the build in action in a solo arena tournament match I played in

P.S. I would appreciate any criticism you may have for this build, other than its obvious lack in ranged attacks, in the comment section of my videos. Finals are approaching and I’m trying hard to resist the urge to procrastinate in the forums or the game

Love the odd combos.
Good day everyone!
I am proud to present my newest and well tested build, who I call “Blood Chopper” or BC shorten.
The main idea behind this build is to keep satisfying amount of damage while sustaining HP at nice amount all the time. Since there wasn’t any build which could fulfill this playstyle for me, I decided to create my own and share with you guys.
This build is really flexible. Main weapons are Axe+Shield & for 2nd weapon set you can chose between Sword+Axe and Greatsword. Both are good, but I play Sword+Axe more.
Regarding build rotation, always start with “For Great Justice”. Then go with axe+shield: 4>3>2>1>F1 then swap and with Sword+Axe: 2>4>5>3
THEN REPEAT
As for survivability, use Defiant Stance to refill HP under huge damage. You can use Endure Pain if you still feel “in life danger” afterwards or save it for moments of gigantic, periodic damage from boss you attack. Signet of Stamina should be used only when you suffer from heavy condition damage.
Last skill, Signet of Rage should be used when you get our of Fury or when you need extra might.
So that would be it!
Special thanks and gratitudes
I would like to thank from bottom of my heart to my guild Underworld Army[UA] for supporting me and donating nice amount of gold to build&test this build as I was creating it.
In case you have any doubts, or any suggestions to improve this build, feel free to comment below!
Cheers!

That’s how i play one of the meta builds for warrior. And what seems “best in slot” for me.
I use zerker/celestial trinkets. Because i take advantage from every single stat in the game, I mentioned that. Your job is not to do crazy damage, but provides sustain damage and very decent support.
Zaki
Yo guys it’s Afro, here is the new outnumbered commentary warrior wvw. Explained step by step how i fight using the new Ulitmate GS+Hammer Build i created.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae38NB-tMbM
i recently tried this build which i found pretty effective in solo and small group roaming in wvw:
it has good survivability and damage output and physical skills to cripple players before landing eviscerate.
Poison on weapon swap and torment with off-hand sword are pretty effective too..
what do you guys think? how can i improve?
I’m planning on using this build but currently it is untested. It looks very good on paper but I am not sure it is optimal.
It’s a mostly passive build with high raw stats for wvw zerg fights.

Been playing a warrior for a while now. I found this is a good build. If you can dish it out, get ready to take it in.

So why would you have physical training?
