Strength needs some love
It used to be the longer a warrior was in a battle, the stronger he got through the use of BP and HF. However, now it is the longer a GLASS CANNON WARRIOR is in the fight, (longer than the 3 seconds it takes to blow up) the stronger he becomes.
To this day I don’t understand why they put confusion as an interrupt in strength tree-that’s for condi warriors…….
Who the hell wants banners to do damage when being summoned. oh man a 1k every 120 seconds so good. Short tember is horrible too.
Physical training needs to be an adept tier.
My 2 cents.
Slashing power+forceful gs merged keeping it in str master line.
Also in current state str adapt tier lacking any real traits to pick up unless we running with mending.
Anyways theres too much traits for single weapons.
2x lb
2x gs
2x axe
Hammer+maces in same line with shield
Warhorn should be adapt tier.

Forceful great swords is already too good trait, giving both 20% reduced cooldown and might, and merging it with slashing power would make it overpowered for a master level trait. Note that both traits affect spear and greatsword, so they are actually NOT single weapon traits, like you claimed.
The problem with strength line is that all the compulsory traits (5, 15 and 25 point) are rather weak. I am especially looking at:

3% damage increase when endurance is not full is a bad joke. But this game has already excessive amount of burst and warrior is definitely not lacking offensive punch, so maybe to completely redesign the 25 strength line trait:
Stick and Move: dodging returns some of the endurance used.
It could be similar or exactly the same as Feline Grace (a thief trait) is:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Feline_Grace
This would promote active defenses. Combine it with vigor or signet of stamina and warrior could mitigate a lot of damage by correctly timed dodges. It could even perhaps make warrior a bit too overpowered by constant dodging (building momentum also gives back 50% endurance)

At least on PvE, Building Momentum is really good.
Aside from going a glass cannon type of build utilizing Berserker’s Power, there is currently no reason to invest anything into Strength aside maybe playing around with a troll Distracting Strikes build.
Restorative Strength is the only Adept trait I would consider getting for 10 points into strength, but I would not invest 10 points into strength just to get that.
Going 20 into strength is really kind of meh as well. You get the 10% Greatsword damage buff and burst skills restoring endurance. However, you could go 10 into tactics for 20% more damage at 50% health, go a full 30 into discipline, get 25 into arms, we have plenty of damage modifiers which effect ALL weapons.
So it will be either all or nothing when investing in strength. Berserker’s Might is also never used.
I completely agree.
On a side note, I did try and make a troll hot join Distracting trait build. It is ok fun but plays rather weird. I could actually hold up against most classes 1v1. Tourney-wise it’s probably not very good. See link here:

Building momentum is actually decent.
No1 care about underwater combat either and as for might on crits guardian master trait actually heals them per swing no crit needed.
I don’t disagree that it might be op and use some correction but both of them should be merged.
The Dual Wielding trait is very powerful and it can be made more viable with an offhand axe buff
I’d like to se the damage on Powerful Banners increased or changed to Allies gain 50 power when in range of one of your banners, or, 25 Power for each of your Banners they are affected by
Completely agree with OP. Warrior is decent now, so we need more viable builds.
I never ever put any points into strength after BP got moved.
Hulk Roaming Montages/Build Vids
I always rage but never quit.
I think Strength has the worst traits of any line. Only one generically good trait and that is the Bers. Power, one trait good for GS, and the rest are crap. Power is the best stat by far though, BP is crazy good, and great sword is the strongest warrior weapon so at least some people are happy.
Yeah strength line is really only good for trolling with full glass cannon builds.
I was having fun messing with an Axe build using Kick with Physical training trait. Best ever was a 5k kick into an 11k Eviscerate on a squishy. Nothing like doing 5k Kicks haha

The strength tree suffers from many problems, partially due to the meta and partially that it is just a lackluster tree in general.
Taking fall damage is only a highly situationally useful trait
Restorative Strength is the only decent Adept Trait
Nobody really cares about having 1K more HP
Short Temper is only situationally OK
Dealing damage on banners? I think we are being punked here
Dual Wielding gets outshined by many global damage increases we have
Physical Training is useless for a warrior who takes either a combo Stances/Shouts
And again 10% damage can be easily made up without investing 20 points into strength
It is a shame because Power for a warrior is something we can’t have enough of. And condition duration would be very nice for condition builds if it was a viable traitline for that type of build.
Most burst builds take the 10 in arms, 20 in defense and 30 in discipline a good combination of burst damage and tankiness. Which honestly doesn’t leave much room for anything else.
Hopefully ANet can do something about this, it is probably the worst traitline in the game, period.

putting BP and HF to 30 is more of a overall huge damage nerf for all builds for warrior.
also take away the “longer it fights more danger it is” warrior concept from most builds
“berserker stance clears all CC on you and you’re still immune to CC for 8 seconds”

Starting combat at full adrenaline didn’t?
I want to be able to 1-shot condi mesmers with a banner summon at the beginning of duels.
