Ok so i’ve played my first char as a warrior, im a completionist so i started donig the whole map (around 70%), and i got to lvl 80…to find out that my build sucks, as a warrior i cant even solo one frikking karka…which is sad…if i barely do pve, pvp is kinda obvious…and i dont want to start everything from scracth again…when i played ppl were so bad at dungeons taht i barely found a good party with which i could do AC, frikknig AC was so hard to do that we always died, so idk what to do to enjoy this game, i know there are lots of stuff i didnt do, but if the char sucks i dont think i can enjoy it…it kinda hurts to see your char suck after such a time…at first it didnt but when if i need the good stuff, like legendaries and harder dungeons…well i couldnt keep the phase, since the char is useless….if you have any suggestions please help me:)

Head over to the warriors forum and check out some pve builds. Warriors generally eat pve for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a midnight snack. I can solo three quarters of the champs on my build and most group content. In dungeons they sorta rule too.

I’m sure someone after me will link some good pve builds as well (Go ahead, link em people)

Warriors don’t suck, indeed as far as PvE are concerned they are the golden child…

You just need to sort your build out, go to warriors forum and you will soon faceroll everything in PvE and carry a party through AC dungeon…

It must be because of your build, or below level equipment or not using food/spanner buffs then…

If you can’t do PvE as a warrior then you have no chance as any other class…

Probably a silly question but, do you have level 75-80 gear? I’ve been on SE explorable runs and the ele pinged his gear and he was in level 50-60 green gear and dieing every pull to crappy mobs my warrior was 2 hitting with 1 skill

yeah lvl 75-80 green-yellow gear

Here I will help you abit, I quote this from another thread I found with all the information you need:

I run full berserker gear with ruby orbs,
20/30/0/0/20 using gs and rifle:
20 – zerker’s power and slashing power
30 – rending strikes, forceful gs, furious
20 – heigtened focus and sig mastery

I get adrenaline really easily with crits, switch to rifle to pop my kill shot and volley, switch back to gs and easily regain full adrenaline, rinse and repeat. This is also good in dungeons. When I’m taking too much hits with melee, just switch to rifle and still deal decent damage.

also, between 48s-cd sig of rage and FGJ, I can practically keep fury up for that +20% crit.

Now you know what gear you need and build, good luck out there, upgrade your gear to 80 even if its blue, green or yellow if you cannot afford exotic.

or buy some gear in WvW.. never used those tokens/badges.. can spend them now for more builds :-)

Don’t bother with rare 80s, get greens since they are affordable till you swap them out (alternative is to get rares and salvage them later for ectos though), do CoF/CoE since they are fastest for exo 80 gear. Get geared up in zerker, get some cheap ruby orbs from TP and you’re good to go.

Main thing is don’t base your playstyle around CoF1 “warriors” and their attitude, run what you like. If you’re properly geared and if your build has synergy with your weapons you’re good to go. And of course practice.
