Why not just a overall DMG buff?
Warriors doesn’t lack DMG but lacks sustain and needs HUGE help in that department. Also the fact that their attacks are pretty slow, blind spamming (mes, thieves for eg.) is over-effective against warriors.

The last thing we need is more damage, especially if half of the damage is having trouble connecting.

From pvp side warrior sustain damage is fine. The problem is chills, blinds, cripple, and immob make it very hard to land hits. Add in the lack of sustained survivability to melee targets reliably and it takes warriors out of team fights.
More on the point of the OP. If they want warrior to be a spike and run class then yes we need a huge damage buff or more skills to grant temp invuln to moment impairment, blinds and blocks.

Or the need to lower the cooldown of Berserker Stance, because that skill feels like a necessity in order for Warriors to do much of anything.
As other people mentioned, our damage is fine, even on the higher end if you just look at numbers alone. The problem is Warriors survivability is not too great, and we are prone to kiting. Longbow tickles. Soft crowd controls are annoying and plentiful with the amount of Druids and Necros running around.
